I think some of the reviews have confused this place with others restaurants…this is right in the corner of the main square.
We had coconut pawns and garlic pawns for lunch. Both were really nice. 10% service charge automatically added onto the bill which I think is reasonable based on the quality
Based off of the food we got, this place is definitely 5 stars! I was craving fish ceviche and guacamole and this place had both so we stopped. The ceviche de pescado was fantastic and a huge portion! It does have a lot of juice, but I loved that! The chips were also delicious, which is something I feel like a lot of restaurants look over. The guac was amazing! Fantastic flavor, chunky, and came with a side of salsa that is super spicy and delicious!! Again, these were the only two things we got, but if you’re a foodie and get the stuff we ordered you’ll be as impressed as we were! Thanks so much!! We really enjoyed our evening snack with y’all!

We ordered Ceviche mixto (it comes drained in lemon juiceand cilantro, which was too sour for me) and pulpo al ajo, which was delicious! They don't serve alcohol but you bring your beers in if you want. They do serve some great flavoured aguas frescas. The food came with totopos (mexican nachos). Prices are very reasonable. Would come again!
Ripoff! This place will assume you are a stupid tourist and bill you what they think you will pay. They tried to charge me 90 pesos for 2 scrambled eggs on a dish that came with them already. That would be the most expensive eggs in all of Mexico, you could buy two chickens and have eggs for life instead. When I questioned it it instantly went down to 50 pesos. They are clearly taking advantage of tourist naïveté, and don’t even try to pretend they’re not. No shame.
Rude service (even before/apart from that), mediocre chilaquiles, watery coffee. There are a lot of good restaurants on the island but this is NOT one of them. Tourist Trap!!!
The best restaurant in the town center. We got the tacos and guacamole. If you’re looking for excellent service and solid food, this is where you need to go!
