Delicious delicious food! Definitely recommend curry crab and seafood rice. The seafood rice is so rich with the seafood! And the taste! Also yummy vegetable soup, delicious drinks.. nothing to complain about. All was good! And the view is best on this tiny 'peninsula'. My favorite place in the area.
Only inconvenience is that you can't pay by card. However that should not keep you away!

We had lunch there couple of times. Place is beautiful with big touch of exotic. Food and drinks were really delicious for good price, customer service was great and staff really kind. Only disadvantage is cash-only payment. Definitely would recommend!

This is a must go if you are traveling through Sri Lanka. Tangalle has a lot of 'secret beaches' that are hidden from the main road, yet easily reachable by small side roads.
Crab House Beach Restaurant offers delicious food and kind service. It is a family business and they will provide you with all you can possibly want.
The view of the beach is just perfect. A little paradise. For me it is the best place in Sri Lanka, but hey...who am I. Check it out yourself!

Excellent place. Right on the beach. Nice coffee and friendly staff. The restaurant serves a variety of good quality seafood and is open from 8am to 10pm. It was nice to take a swim and then just relax watching the beautiful view over the sea. Thank you to Manoj, the owner, and his main man, Kasun, for looking after me. I highly recommend Crab House, the staff, the food ...and definitely the coffee. Thank you, Manoj. Great spot.

The seafood platter was GOURMET. Such good value!! We got a lobster rather than the jumbo prawns and it was honestly the best idea ever. The staff was also soooo nice, best food i have had in my three weeks at sri lanka!!!!!!!!!

Stopped off for a visit to Tangelle beach. The Crab House looked inviting located at the end of the beach overlooking the ocean. Lunch was delicious, freshly caught grilled mullet & prawns. Such lovely people
