Couplands is a South Island institution. Always has the freshest bread, and a good range of other baked delights. This particular outlet is large, well laid out, and had friendly staff. Somewhere we're sure to visit whenever we're in the area.

When I came into your bakery today, I had a list of the items I needed to buy, but apparently I didn't spend enough money, the pushy woman that served me, " can I interest you in some biscuits? ", if I was interested in some of your biscuits they would have been on my list of items to buy, as someone who trained to be a dentist, can I interest your staff in mouth wash? and maybe the occasional minty? Prehaps a tooth brush and toothpaste, and a good flossing now and again. All I can I was glad she was wearing a mask, P U.

Great store friendly Staff low prices
Disappointed in there buns, brought fruitless hot cross buns over Easter and 4 pack cheese rolls, all still raw and doughy all under cooked!
Only things I won't buy again from there are those!
Everything else is spot on!!

Coupland's Richmond is a moderately big store. Two automatic door entrances and a reasonable range of product. They often have frozen cheaper pies and savouries in the freezer. Staff are pretty friendly and there are two checkouts.

Great and reliable and yummy store to buy nearly everything. Pastry till bread till hotdogs. Just a nice lovely place

Always a great place to get your Bread and Pies, etc. No reason why it always has close during lockdowns. It is no different from a Super Market.
