Having seen Deep Canyon, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. According to the clients' comments, Thai and Vietnamese dishes here are quite good. Had really good Peking duck pancakes and dumplings in this food truck! Laid back atmosphere with many food options from the various food trucks. A tip is to order online to avoid the que during summer evenings. After a gruelling hunt for this place on a hot day, the choice of food and very slow service was disheartening. Most of the selections on the menu had been crossed out. Barely any seating except on the grass. This is in Wanaka, where a heavy load of tourists is expected, yet space is inadequate to accomodate a large crowd. Would not visit again. Chicken Pad Thai very tasty (imo a bit too cooked) and tofu one very great as well ! One of the staff member will definitely remind you Jim carrey, very nice place ! But have in mind that is New Zealand so it closes very early (8:30pm) Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Real food made with passion and care. Superb menu, with the shiitake mushroom dumplings our favorite - but every item on the menu is fantastic ie fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Friendly service and just allround care makes this one of the best choices for great Asian food in Wanaka. A favorite, for sure! Excellent option Celiacs friendly. I was visiting Wanaka, and I asked in all the restaurants around with gluten free option, if they were safe for celiacs. The answer was always the same "There is cross contamination and I can’t make sure you that it is 100% gluten free" A little tired of the same thing, I walked to a very nice place where there were different food trucks, a small creek, and plenty of place and grass to sit. My partner asked for celiacs option in this place "Coco Hut. South East Asian Food" and happily, they told me that they could make Pad Thai 100% gluten free version, safe for celiacs. In addition to assuring me that all utensils and pans would be very clean for me, no cross contamination. My Pad Thai was delicious, plus I had a gluten free kombucha. All very well declared 100% gluten free. The concern and knowledge about celiac disease was very noticeable and much appreciated. I enjoyed it, didn't get sick, safe place!❤️ Highly recommended. Just go, mention, and enjoy. Good south Asian food in a food truck . Food is almost as authentic as you can get back at home. I tried the pad thai. Kudos to the chef! Chef could do more with a smile though. Haha. Maybe he had a tiring day. Hope his day will be better. 😇 Great ambience and scenery around the eating area. Reasonable pricing.
