My girlfriend and I went there one time and it became our spot for the week. The Sri Lanka rice and curry is just delicious. They serve a big portion of food that can easily be for 2 people. The rotis are good and you can see while they do it which gives you an extra experience. You pay a fair and cheap price for what you get. The service is also good, everyone is kind and smiling.
The roti was not good. The tuna in the burger was so tough I was unable to cut it with a knife. The juices had little flavour. Only the fries tasted great. Quite a disappointment for a place with such good ratings.

I didn't stay in the hotel part, I just ate there, and unfortunately, it was not good at all :-( I had a roti with tuna and cheese and although I was hungry, there was no way to finish it. The tuna was cooked and fried to death, little hard pieces with no taste and I only saw traces of cheese. I read later that the roti is not recommended but the other dishes are supposed to be good but I couldn't bring myself to come back. Staff was nice though and I like the location of the place. So maybe give it a try but don't order the roti.
Went here for dinner as the reviews looked good and was just across the street from our hotel Food was great value, delicious and big portions. Service was friendly as well. Excellent Kottu as all the other reviews suggest.
Unfortunately staff was very unfriendly and food was oily, we took rice and curry and kotthu and whole evening felt heaviness after food, and sensations of poisoning. After eating kotthu felt like eating a stone :/
Bacon in my breakfast was an imitation (photo applied), cheese&tuna roti contained so crisp fish pieces you couldn’t tell what kind of fish it is or is it fish at all, and i think cheese was also an imitation. Mango shake was mostly water.
Excellent restaurant serving local and western food. The owner is exceptional and will explain details of the dishes. We went there twice during our short stay. Far better than the questionably "fresh" seafood on the beach. And also great prices for mirissa.
Big portions. Curry was amazing, roti not the best but the service was friendly, very nice vibe.... would recommend..... good prices
One of my top 3 favorite places in mirissa for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can recommend their three curries for dinner (it’s huge!), their banana pancakes for breakfast (also large and it comes with coffee/tea, and juice or a fruit plate). I’ve loved their fish curry and kottu as well. Such nice, local people who own this restaurant! Their takeaway rotis are my favorite in Sri Lanka.
