This place is such a gem. Incredibly fresh clams and other seafood. And you can bring your own beers! Could happily sit here for hours snacking away. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You come here for chocolate clams. Cocktails and ceviche are also great. The setting is very simple: plastic chairs and tables on the side walk. But it seemed more authentic to us than most. Bringing your own beverage like beer is encouraged. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Clams

Chocolate clams!! What's available will varies so it's good to ask! We paid the place a visit and ordered two dozens of the big chocolate clams....that was a big mistake. These babies were humongous! Luckily, they knew we couldn't finish so we had a dozen along with the other fares. If available, ask for cerveza. It'll be nice and cold and complement the seafood well. Staffs were attentive and there were plenty of seating for large group. Also, the direction is not exact but it's pretty accurate. Definitely not a place to miss!!! We got the fish ceviche. I thought it was very fishy. So I choose not to eat it. I wanted shrimp. Next time I’ll get the shrimp. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
A must in La Paz to try the fantastic chocolate clams (Almejas Chocolatas). They pretty much only serve these clams and some ceviche or variations so you know it’s gonna be good. They come with some fried tortilla chips, lots of limes and the sauces on the table. They taste like the very best sashimi shellfish - cleaned and prepared extremely well. Oh, and they’re super cheap - MXN120 for 6 is plenty for one person. This is the kind of place I always love finding when travelling.

If you enjoy clams and ceviche, don't miss this place. Everything was super fresh. And, the prices can't be beat. The service was phenomenal, and we would love to go back again. While it's on the edge of La Paz, it's not too far of a walk from the center of town. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Clams
Great little restaurant where you can find the unique clams Almeja chocolate (they are endemic to the sea of Cortez). This is seriously good stuff and it's also very healthy. Plus the place is cheap and the staff friendly. A must do if you're in La Paz, BCS Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100–200

Fantastic clamp. Very cheap. Fabulously friendly service. Great vibe. My favourite place in La Paz.
If you’re looking to understand the local chocolate clam, this is the place to do it. When I did squeeze fresh lime on mine, the clams reacted as if they were happy to know they were appreciated in their final home. They do not sell cerveza here but there is a beer store around the corner. A dozen is $100 or around $5.25.
