Extremely dishonest and I wouldn't recommend. Go somewhere else. 1. Front menu suggests tacos at chinicuil is 35each. Inside menu doesn't say the individual prices of the tacos. We ended up getting billed almost twice the suggested cost. 2. Was suggested two tacos. Received two different and was told they were the wrong tacos. Waiter acknowledged they made a mistake and we received our original suggested order. However, we ended up getting charged for the mistakes made by their team. Food wise, it's was tasty and was solid value for initial advertised price. But not worth the prices they surprise you with. Service was initially okay, but dishonest in the end, that ruined the entire experience. Respectfully, I wouldn't recommend this place as you can get better food for better value and honest service. Nice vybz , we stopped in for late lunch and had 3 different flavors of tacos. WOW , incredible taste with Chorizo taking top honors. Laid back environment, staff was so friendly and great conversation while helping us with menu. Definitely recommend! Very good food and super friendly staff. The location is very inviting and the food is very authentic. Would highly recommend it especially in comparison to the highly overrated and crowded restaurants in Holbox. The shrimp tacos are very very good and the enchiladas with green sauce. We ordered a huge meat plate which was a little too much for 2 people if you order more things but that was our fault because we did not really read was in it. We walked past this place several times without realising what was behind the entrance on the side of a shop however glad we stopped by! Alex our server was super helpful, took the time to explain the menu and what was available, also a brief history lesson and his recommendations on the food. Lovely fella Food is on point too, yum! And the Chipotle grasshoppers with the mezcal was a new and welcomed experience! this restaurant is top notch. this gem is a bit hidden and inconspicuous from the outside, but a real hit. Alex gave us a friendly welcome and gave good tips on what to eat. the food is top class, authentic and very tasty. the atmosphere is relaxed and cultivated. Alex is accommodating, funny and a cool guy. 100% recommendation. thanks Alex. Enjoy the ice cream 😉

A really cute spot that felt like a proper authentic experience. Everybody is so nice and obviously really cares about what they do. The food all had great depth of flavour, particularly the pozole. They bring complimentary tortilla chips and various excellent homemade salsas and sauces, all of which unique and tasty. The kitchen is somewhat open so you can watch them grilling your tortillas. Their very cute dog wanders around the outdoor seating too. It was just a shame it wasn’t more busy - this seems to be a real hidden gem! Get there fast!

Fantastic Chicken in Pablo Mole sauce with fresh made blue corn soft tortillas. Rustic hole in the wall, mom and pop joint.
