Probably my favorite meal we had at the resort. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service from our waiter Adrian was top notch. You can tell that he genuinely cares about giving his guests the best experience possible. My wife and I tried the 2 specials of the night per his recommendation, and couldn’t have been more pleased!

The hostess Amelia at Chez Isabelle was rude, and not friendly. She is not helpful, does not try to accommodate, and judges your dress attire.
Amelia needs more training before being put in a customer facing position.
Adrian the manager was accommodating and helpful. He sat us next to each other effortlessly. Not sure why Amelia had so much trouble when the restaurant was 70% empty.
Details below:
We had planned to dine at Chez Isabelle for my cousins birthday. I went two days before the planned date to inquire about a possible reservation. Amelia informed that they do not take reservations and was a first come first serve basis, which was fine.
On the date of the planned dinner we asked for a table of 6. She said they cannot move the tables together so I asked if we could sit beside each other atleast and we pointed to two specific tables. Amelia said “The table is reserved”. What the heck she just told me we couldn’t make a reservation two nights before. The manager was standing beside her and informed us that we could’ve made a reservation through the concierge. I was like Amelia never told us that was a possibility I came in two days ago to ask about reservations.
We were taken to our tables and we noticed across the room there was tables that could seat us beside each other so we asked if we could change. Amelia then rolled her eyes at my cousin and walked away. SO RUDE!
Also, before we were sat down one of us had to go change because t-shirts were not allowed but she said it in such a rude way, judging what you’re wearing.

This is by far the best restaurant at the resort. If you have not experienced the wine cellar, it is a must do! The appetizers, entees and deserts are to die for. Romero, our waiter was awesome!

I had a wonderful experience with this restaurant and Adrian the manager, Ramiro, and Padron were absolutely incredible! I never had a better experience anywhere at any restaurant including America that was better than this. I am truly grateful for the kindness and the attention they showed me and my wife on our honeymoon and would highly recommend the hospitality of this amazing staff! Huge shoutout to these people and we found our destination resort to come back to year after year <3

My sister and I had the most incredible dining experience at Chez Isabelle Excellence Riviera Cancun. Our server Benjamin was very professional, checking back often even as other servers helped us. He is also extremely personable and joked around with us while sharing personal stories. He made our Thursday night dinner into a special occasion and when we made a point of thanking him personally, he offered to take care of us again if we’re able to come back for another meal before we go home. Our compliments to Chef Stefany as well - every bite was an experience by itself and exceeded my expectations of the 5 star quality of Excellence Resorts restaurants. The best meal of my vacation by far.

Outstanding solo dining experience at Chez Isabelle! Warm, classy, authentic atmosphere. Superb attentive service from Aaron. Simply excellent food. Escargot starter was delicious, melt-in-your-mouth mushroom crepe, decadent French Onion soup, and the sea bass entree was outstanding! Vanilla creme Brule too! Highly recommend this restaurant, you'll love it!!

My husband and I went to this resort for our honeymoon- a 10 day stay so lots of time for eating at all the restaurants. We ended up coming here 4 times! Would have been more if they were open for lunch. The service was wonderful and the food was by far the best on the resort. You MUST request Benjamin as your server, very attentive and he went above and beyond to make our dinners so special and one of a kind- even our rose petals on our table for a romantic honeymoon dinner. The chef Daniel is wonderful and very accommodating as well. Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked every time, and the crème brûlée was perfect. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you happen to meet Jennifer at any of the restaurants hosting she was so sweet and made a point to remember us, we loved getting to see her at the restaurants-so kind. Can’t say enough about this restaurant. 10/10 recommend

Amazing experience here!!! I am so grateful to our server Aaron and chef for the attention to my anaphylactic allergies to certain foods. I was never made to feel uneasy or like I was an inconvenience. Thank you for a stress free amazing dinner.

Best restaurant at the hotel. Special occasion feel when compared to the other restaurants. Extremely professional service. Excellent food. Highly recommend coming here even with the wait.

Such a lovely restaurant on property. By far the most outstanding quality of food, service and “wow” factor! Before Chez Isabelle, I did not believe it was possible for a restaurant at an all-inclusive to check all three boxes, so that made it all the more wonderful. Amir was outstanding and deserves all the applause! Get the filet mignon—it’s beyond. Thank you for making our celebration special.
