Lovely spot for a food/snack break along the Tangalle road. The service was great as well. 📣 Beware of local/foreign prices of souvenirs 📣 The shop owner told me a small elephant costs Rs. 800/- for locals and Rs 1,200/- for foreigners. (See the photos). There are no price tags for those souvenirs, where they charge more from foreigners . Excellent spot for lunch or dinner. Su the owner is a great cook and very friendly and knows how to cook a tuna or whole fish. And reasonable prices. We are here a few times. I've been the to buy some souvenirs. The price is good, not expensive. In Galle, I paid 5000 for a small mask here, the same size 350. Also, they have good stock of shell, magnets, etc.

It was our most expensive and worst dinner in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. We stopped on the way to Tangalle not checking the reviews and that was a mistake. We had a sea food plate: prawns and salad were more or less ok but tuna - completely dry and not fresh and calmari, which I adore, berely eatable. Rice was strange too. At the end they charged us crazy 1000 rupies for a pot of tea.

I was 5 days in town and had 4 days dinner at this place. You can eat realy good local food and also european kitchen. The place is nice and relaxing. You have different levels to sit, you can walk on the beach while your dinner is cooking. The owner is a lovely lady, that will do everthing to make you happy. Thank you Subatra, for every meal you cooked for me, and all the nice talks. I will come back!

Wery good food and good price. Wery Nice located att the beach. Therese are absolut a shop with beautiful julens and other tings. The owners are so fiender and serviceminded. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The view is perfect, location is also top. Food is delicious and restaurant is clean and you can see a kitchen and what they do in the kitchen. On my opinion it's very important. Minus is drinks. Prices for beer and non Alkoholic drinks are too high. But food prices are OK. Otherwise here is not so many such places with a top view. It's not a pub. very friendly personal.
