We do not speak Japanese, however we love good food and this place has it in abundance. Both our dishes were amazing, simple but divine in taste and expression of the local ingredients.

This cute little shop serves ramen by day and a fabulous Chinese banquet style dinner at night. Dinner is by reservation only. It’s hard to find good Chinese food in Japan but this place delivered the goods! Dim sums to start were delicious and juicy. The Biei pork was melt in your mouth. Very flavourful and spicy mapo tofu. And loved the cold tan tan noodles. Can’t wait to get back there again soon!

I went to this restaurant last tuesday.
At that time my smartphone was got rid of its battery. I was confused that situation.
Because I was treveler and I have already heard about japanese culture relate with electricity.
Even, I didnt have recharger. Although I knew that information I asked them to borrow their recharger.
However I underwent miraculous behavior.
they gave me their recharger for free. Even they gave me two types.
Their favor certainly moved me.
Finally I can use my smartphone after meal.
Whether they read this review, I really hope to express the day's gratitude. Thank you so much Chai family.
You are most kind japanese people entire of this travel and I promise you I will visit your restaurant when I go to sapporo again.

small joint from the outside but dont let that deter you !! tantanmen was scrumptious, along with mabo tofu and creamy anindoufu. saito was a great host :-)
