Great shop, they are offering tea tasting. Recommend going in the morning because some teas are sold out quickly. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I was well taken of by Madushanka & Kalindu. A complimentary tasting of five teas without the usual pressured sales pitch. A few hours later I still felt so pleased, so I did go back to buy some tea.

The retail assistant there was fantastic! He was so passionate about tea and all the technical processings - it was lovely to chat to someone who could share my love for tea! Fluent English as well! He had us smell absolutely everything and talked about each tea in fine detail just the way I like it!

Kalindu helped me select the right teas as I didn’t have much knowledge on the difference. He even let me try a few teas before I bought them which I really appreciated. The tea is definitely high quality and Kalindu helped educate me on which temperature to steep and for how long. Also really affordable pricing! These would make for great gifts for friends and family back home. I’m really happy I came to this tea shop in Ella and highly recommend.

Great little tea shop on the ella town strip - lovely service and free tea tasting. The shop staff were pleasant, very helpful and friendly. A fantastic variety of teas to try as well - highly recommend!

If you are looking for a real good taste of tea, then this is a must go. Located at the center of Ella. The Ceylon Tea Centre has different teas available which also you can try before buying them.
The seller who is Madushankar is a well-experienced for the tea in its health benefits and right preparation which affects the overall taste of the tea. Something I learned there. So I bought their Greentea & Infused Soursoup Greentea which are their best sellers. White tea as well.

Very helpful manager who explained the different flavours, strengths and types of the tea on offer. We got to sample the teas and he showed us how to brew each type of tea. Wonderful service
