This restaurant is definitely nothing special. It is quite expensive but the food needs more seasoning and in our opinion also a bit stronger taste. I really do not recommend the La Strada salad. The cucumber, salad and tomatoes with few bites of cheese and cold chicken with a really small amonut of yogurt dressing was nothing I expected for 45 lei. And also do not go for the dish called somehow like Pork pan with polenta from the Rumunian specialties section-very tasteless. What I very recommend is the Goulash (5/5)! And the stuff was also very helpful and kind!

We waited for a good while so we hoped for slightly bigger portions or slightly better food…. But it was not bad overall. They forgot to bring us the second beer ;) Yet the climate of the Main Street and 10h drive to get there were best seasonings

I was looking for local food and tried smoked and baked pork shank with bean stew. It was awesome. I ate huge portion because I could not stop 🙈
The restaurant is underground, there is souvenirs shop at the entrance. Go down, even if it does not look working, there is paradise inside 🙏

We arrived at 3pm on the 31/10 and, after ordering, we waited almost 50 minutes for a soup (which should be already cooked) and a salad (which should be quick to make). Most of all, when the soup arrived it was cold and in the salad not all the ingredients described in the menu were present. At least the final bill was okay and not so expensive.

Total disappointment. We only ordered draft beer and ice cream for kids. The service was so slow that we had to wait 30 minutes. By the time they have served the ice cream were almost completely melted and the beer was warm and degassed or maybe not fresh. On top of that we had received much less than 0,4L in the glass. Not recommended unless you like warm beer that tastes much worse than caned beer offered in the shop shelf.

The service was really good, we were happy of the young guy who took care of the service for the night. Traditional restaurant if you want the full Romanian experience. But sadly, the food didn't hit our expectations : it wasn't really tasty, the goulash didn't have loads of vegetables nor meat in it, the ciorba with beef and vegetables was good but the beef was a bit tough. It wasn't memorable at all so I won't return but the location is good and very friendly service. I would say they're a bit more expensive than other restaurants around here (but still incredibly affordable when you come from Western Europe like us!!! 47€ for 4 drinks, 2 apéritivs and 2 main dishes)

Good food, good mood. Everything is good here besides the fact that there is no soap in the bathroom and the papanasi desert was raw. There was no problem because they accepted their mistake and took it back

We had to wait for about 45min until a waiter came to us to take our small order (we realized then that one person who was just standing around infront of the shop for most of the time actually was one of the two waiters who should have seen us ready to order just infront of his eyes…) and then at least another 30min for the fruit juice, beer, lemonade and that portion of surely premade eggplant salad.. unfortunately, the beer and the fruit juice glasses were not even filled fully, I saw others here also had this remark already. While the waiters were friendly, they were just not very attentive and moving slow. The eggplant salad tasted good. We cannot judge other food.
