One of the best restaurants I have eaten at. High quality food delivered to the table within 15mins of ordering. All 12 of us enjoyed exquisite cuisine provided by an amazing team of waitresses and busboys. Ate here two nights in a row and we arrived late for our booking after the kitchen had closed but they kept it open for us. You don't often see that and to top it off all meals were reasonably priced. I totally recommend this establishment as being the best restaurant in Whanganui. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great place with amazing staff. Visited on a Saturday night around 6pm with no booking. We were quickly seated indoors and our order taken promptly. Great selection of starters and mains at reasonable prices. Drinks arrived quickly. Starters and mains also arrived very quickly. The portions are huge so go hungry!! Would highly recommend if visiting the area.

Had lunch there earlier this week and was very impressed. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful and the service was super quick. I had the vegetarian fritters which were just amazing! One of the nicest vegetarian meals I have had - even though I am not a vegetarian! Hubbie had the steak sandwich. Will definitely visit again! Plenty of people love this place and it does what it very well. Big portions which the locals love. Standard drink range. Dog friendly in a section of outside. Table service available inside. Here on evening of 19th June 2023. Just by myself as in Wanganui for work purposes. I gave the t-bone steak with mushroom sauce a shot. Excellent feed, plenty of it and worth the $40.00. I wish I got the ladies name that served me but she was great to . Steak was cooked how I asked. Sitting on a bed of mushrooms and onions. A good feed and I would be happy to come back ad well as recommend this establishment. Gluten free options available. Food was delicious with a large portion size, great value. It was busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive at the table. Upon arrival. My partner and I grabbed the menu. And waited for someone to approach us. When they did we said table for 2. And as we headed off to our table with who we thought was a waitress, another lady said something about orders at the bar and something about drinks. So I thought she said that we can order drinks at the bar anytime. I thought nothing of it, as we have been here before. So we sat down outside. I grabbed a couple of lemon lime and bitter drinks. And we waited. As we have been coming here for years, we know how the food and service is like. We waited and waited and waited, for 25 minutes, and I was getting annoyed that not 1 person has not come over to take our order. So I got up and went to go see someone. I found the lady that said something about the bar and drinks, I told her that we have been sitting here for 25 minutes, and not one waiter or waitress approached us to take our orders. And she said with a loud voice, "I told you to order at the bar", as in your meals she was meaning. OMG REALLY, this was not clearly stated to me, and if this is only a temporary measure, or if this is how they roll now. I grabbed my partner and left.
