Great selection of smoked meats and guacamole was very good! Tortas are a great choice for breakfast, and loved the morcilla. Great place before / after Ek Balam. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Temozon, not to be confused with Tizimin, Tinum or Tekom is the Smoked Meat capital of Mexico. Just a bit off the tourist path north of Valladolid on the way to Rio Lagartos or the Ruins of Ekbalam is not to be missed. Smoked meat shops, there are about 20, line hiway 295. Pick one and enjoy the variety of meats and smoke flavours. Look for the word Ahumado. Most guide books don't even mention this gastronomic delight of a town. Get the variety platter it has a bit of everything and will easily feed 4 people.

The chrorizo is phenomenal -- probably the best that I've ever had: wonderful spice and smokey flavor. The other smoked meats were just okay. Friendly staff who provide great service.

Amazing. All meat good. Beans and salsa amazing. Tortillas made by hand. Ribs steal the show. Ask for the habanero.

Wow, amazing food. My husband loved the guacamole. Two tacos filled me up. Seriously, the food is unbelievably good. Definitely coming back here if I ever return to Mexico.

Delicious, abundant, fresh, spicy, well done tortillas, super affordable prices and the real small town ambiance. Kindly staff and great humidor meat plates, complex and yet simply food. The real thing in your way back to Valladolid from all day swimming in cenotes and climbing up mayan ruins kind of hungry.
