Absolutely thrilled with Cakery! I was in a pinch, needing a special birthday cake by Thursday and reached out on a late Monday. Despite the short notice, many of the other cake shops declined my request as they were unable to make the type of cake that I requested. Cakery not only accepted but exceeded all expectations.
I shared a few photos of the cake I had in mind, and the result was nothing short of amazing. The cake they crafted not only matched but surpassed the reference images. And the final product was a delicious work of art.
Cakery has now become my go-to cake shop. Their willingness to take on tight timelines, combined with their creativity and skill, has won me over. A big thank you to them for making the birthday celebration truly special.

The cake we ordered was beyond our expectations, absolutely ticked all the boxes and more. Head baker Alice was so helpful, all the staff were lovely. They let us provide our own cake toppers and matched the colours to this perfectly. Cake was packaged safely so we could transport it without too much anxiety, it was presented on-stage to Super Junior's D&E and made a great impression. Would order from here again any day and recommend to any fandoms/fan events/big events too!
We ordered a cake from Alice and her team at Cakery NZ for our daughter’s first birthday. We went to her with no idea what we wanted and came away with the most beautiful rainbow cake design we could have hoped for! It was stunning to look at and tasted absolutely divine! Not only was the cake fantastic but Alice was so helpful in giving us all the options and couldn’t help us enough. Thankyou for taking the stress away from organising our daughter’s first birthday and cake. I can’t recommend Alice and Team at Cakery NZ enough, we will be back again soon! Edit to add that the packaging was excellent too, it was very sturdy and took the anxiety away from transporting a large cake

Love this place first time buyer and definitely wont be the last. It was gorgeous very large 10inch cake frosting was delicious and the cake OMG this was moist and so condensed but super soft worth the money excellent customer service and we booked wrong date and she was still able to cater for the correct day your amazing highly reccomend. Packaging was super cute also with its own cake box.
I needed a cake for my daughter's first birthday and needed it fast (Covid/Red Traffic light meant I had to cancel the original party and organise a family get together a few days after her actual party) so found someone local - The Cakery popped up on Google. Wanted a small unicorn cake and requested for a lighter/pastel colour tone. They said they could do it. Ordered a 6 inch butter flavour unicorn cake. Organised for it to be delivered. Being a first time customer, also got 10% off my first order. They delivered a day before and explained how to store the cake. The cake looked so adorable, my eldest daughter was so excited. On the day, we kept the cake out as per the instructions. Had a piece and it was divine... I was worried it would be too sweet or buttery but it wasn't.. just the right sweetness. Thank you for such a great experience, I wasn't sure what to expect but you delivered on a high. Am looking forward to trying your other cakes!
Ordered 2 cakes. They both did not look like what I had ordered in the pictures. I ordered two different flavours and both were not nice. Would not order from here ever again. Waste my money for my daughters birthday cake
