Cafe Brooklyn’s location next to the scenic water views in Kotor is undoubtedly convenient, offering a promising spot to enjoy the surroundings. However, my recent experience at the cafe was unfortunately marred by poor service.
Upon entering the cafe, we were disappointed to find only one waiter on duty. It quickly became evident that he did not speak English, which made communication difficult. Our attempts to get his attention were often ignored, leaving us feeling neglected and frustrated.
When we finally managed to inquire about the available options, the waiter handed us a menu card from the neighboring restaurant, which was both confusing and disappointing. It was clear that he did not care about taking our orders or providing proper service.
To make matters worse, when we did manage to place an order, the waiter brought us the wrong coffee, compounding our dissatisfaction.
In summary, while Cafe Brooklyn’s location holds promise, our experience was overshadowed by inadequate service. The presence of only one unresponsive waiter who didn't understand our needs and provided incorrect orders left us with a less than satisfactory impression of the cafe. Improvements in service and communication are essential to make the most of this otherwise promising location.

The food is delicious, my only complaint is that the server was really hard to get a hold of. Also some of the mussels weren't fully cleaned and de-bearded (still yummy just off-putting). The view is amazing and gorgeous. The drinks were good, the orange juice was definitely freshly squeezed.

Fatal.

No one speaks English in a tourist destination. The first day we ordered two coffees and we paid with card however the next day the lady told us (somehow with some English and body language) that we cannot pay with card cause they do not have a POS. Coffee was good and the place wonderful in front of the sea, but the service was too bad

We went to this place in Montenegro and ordered two omelets and two teas for breakfast. The waiter was a young person who didn't speak English, so we had a hard time communicating. Eventually, one of the teas came out wrong. The waiter somehow said, "We don't have the other tea." However, when I went inside and inquired about it, a woman gave me the tea I wanted, but she had an expressionless and very unhappy face. She didn't speak English either and mumbled something. Both the waiter and the woman seemed very unfriendly and unhappy, as if they didn't want to serve us. After waiting for about 40 minutes, the waiter showed us a message on his phone using Google Translate, saying, "The kitchen is closed, so we can't give you the omelet." They even shamelessly demanded payment for the tea. In summary, there were no English-speaking staff members at the establishment, they treated us very rudely, and they didn't provide service. I would have given zero stars, but unfortunately, one star is the lowest rating. If you want to avoid getting upset, I recommend staying away from this place.

Good coffee but unprofessional on multiple levels. I was not acknowledged for a good while when I entered and halfway through my coffee, I was asked to pay up. I would look elsewhere in Kotor for a coffee or a beer.
