This is probably the restaurant offering the best value for money in Ella. Their prices are super cheap compared to most other restaurants in Ella but they offer the same quality. Staff are also very nice. We ate here twice and everything we ordered was super fresh and tasty. Give it a try!

This cafe was recommended in our travel guide book and we are glad we tried it out. We absolutely loved it! After spending 4 days in Ella we can say its the best place to eat. They also have vegan and vegetarian options. We recommend the chicken curry, fried noodles and the chocolate banana pancakes. The personnel speaks good English and they are really friendly. The waitress is soo super cute, a nice local family you can support and in exchange you get really delicious and cheap food! You definitely need to try the mango lassi, so huge and tasty. AMAZING! We came here because of the cheap Rice and Curry (600 LKR) and it did not disappoint! They put so much effort into the location and the food was sooo delicious! We had to come back the next day for lunch because we couldn't stop thinking about it. Such a wonderful place. The atmosphere is soothing. Chill out music along with the occasional smell of incense. Also the warm smile and kindness of the staff and last but not least the excellent food. I had the curry rice and the pumpkin mushroom soup. I give both 10 points. Highly recommend this place, it is really worth taking a walk from the centre of Ella to dine there. The food is fresh, well seasoned, the place is clean and nice. It is worth checking if they are open as on our return for breakfast it was shut despite the information on Google.
