In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Tairawhiti Museum, stop by this restaurant. Cafe Anatolia is recommended for the Turkish cuisine offered. Perfectly cooked kebabs will impress you at the first bite. The professional service is its considerable plus. This place has received Google 4.5 according to the guests' opinions.

Quick and friendly service. The food is delicious and the portion of the food is really worth for the paid price. I had a vege karma and the good thing is you can pick up things and make your own bowl of food. They have a considerable range of a menu and their family combos is a good choise too. I gave this Cafe 5 stars because their service is top notch and fast. Their product is consistently yummy and of a high standard. Kai is fresh and the chips are exactly the way I like it! I eat here every Tuesday and most Saturday afternoons with my family ....
Some days the food is amazing, others it tastes like they're trying to cover up the taste of rotting vegetables by putting too much of the sour dressing on the salad... guys it doesn't work... I can still taste that your vegetables are going off, making the salad extremely sour doesn't help at all. Just send someone out to buy fresh veggies each morning before you get someone sick... Seriously.
Terrible baklava. Tasted like the nuts used were ransid. Too much salt on the chips. My children wouldn't eat them and my mouth is now raw. Meat seemed dry. Plus it seemed expensive compared to other kabab places. Yuck!
Our workplace enjoy eating kebabs from Cafe Anatolia. My family dined in recently. They have a high chair available for babies. Good price for fresh, quality kai.

Used to go to the other Turkish place in town but went there the other night and the staff was rude so went to this one and fair to say that me and my partner will continue coming here. Friendly, fast and delicious :)

Fresh, filling, flavourful kebabs, good for when you want subway but actually want to be satisfactorily full.
Consistently delicious food and very good service.
