I hated the way he didn't focus on his customers. I forgot the contents of the order, the staff gathered to talk to themselves, and even if the guest leaves, the cafe is too lush for the guest who does not greet or receive it. I always get a warm welcome. It's a lovely couple who own it, and work very hard. The coffee is good, always hot and service is always really prompt. I've only had the cabinet food, which is lovely. My partner went here for a breakfast after walking around most of the cafes in town , we thought by the looks of other patron meals on their table we would try . The girl on till was non hospitable and ber Short with us . After a good 25- 30 minutes our meal /breakfast arrived . Our toast wasn’t buttered and the meal was cold .there wasn’t and condiments on the table such as salt , pepper . When we approach the counter the girl said that we hadn’t asked for the toast to be buttered ??? And to top it all off we still hadn’t received out pot of tea and one coffee . Then just to think they may have had a bad day against all reasons we went back this long weekend being the second customers in the cafe we tried again with an open mind knowing what had happened pre Christmas . So this time we ordered the breakfast once again not mentioning about the previous visit and not asking for our toast to be buttered. The meal came out after the tea and coffee BUT THE TOAST WAS SHORT ONE PIECE EACH . ! The other customers order came out and had FULL TWO SLICES OF TOAST ! This place is a joke and I advise people not to go there . On my next visit to Piahia I’ll also go and mention to them . Terrible Service ! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Good value for money. Busy day but service was good! Good barista and eggs Benedict was tasty as well but to be honest, egg should be runny. Bit to hard this time. Will be back for the creamy mushrooms👍 Just tell them you want your eggs runny and you have a very god breakfast. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30
