Very nice store, the two guys working there were very friendly and happy to explain all the different pastries on offer because I didn’t know what everything was.
Would definitely recommend for a very tasty meal.

Little place where they sell "empanadas" and other amazing savory pastries with typical Maltese flavor. Highly recommended, very tasty and good prices.

We just returned from a 5.5-day trip to Malta, and I chose this pastizzeria as the first place to review (and we ate a lot). If you're in Zurrieq or just passing through, you should stop here. We'd already had lunch at another bakery on the square, but we ran into this place around the corner and wanted something sweet. The very friendly woman running the bakery explained she had imqarat (but baked, not fried) and some wonderful apple-stuffed pastries. Both were so good that they made my knees buckle. The baked imqarat were even better than the fried — you can really taste the dates. And the apple pastry had huge chunks of apple, with a crust that was a bit like apple pie crust but lighter. My only regret is that we didn't have lunch here, only dessert.
