The best pies in New Zealand! Pulled Pork and cheese and onion are amazing but the other flavors are also very good. The cream donuts are excellent. A must for those visiting Wanganui. Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Donuts

I order Butter chicken pie and Pulled pork bacon pie Flavor are good and pork bacon pie have rich BBQ and mayonisse flavor, quite tasty. I also bought passion fruit doughnut which is good as well

Satisfyingly smashed my hunger over the steak bacon cheese pie and doubled back with a surprisingly cheap iced coffee. Top show.

Always satisfied leaving this place. Pies cost the same everywhere, but, they only taste THIS good at Butcharts'!! Don't kid yourself, you know it, Springvale knows it, those guys in College Estate know it, only Gonville has the best pies, and they're here!

The steak and cheese pie is very well made and the prices are affordable. The donuts could of been made to be more soft as they tend to be quite tough/ almost hard to consume. Overall the pies are very nice and excellent customer service from the ladies there.

Awesome home made style food. Massive selection of pies, sandwiches and donuts, as well as other treats. They do amazing sponges in a few different flavours, my fav is the coffee one but my colleagues all like the passion fruit one so I have to get two! There is a pie flavour for everyone I'd say. Just get in quick, as they are popular and you may miss out on your choice of pie as they go fast!

We don't eat sausage rolls for their health benefits, we eat them because they taste great but today I had the worst sausage roll ever. As soon as I got to my car the bag was excessively greasy. When I got home I was faced with a soggy, greasy, fat laden mess. I took one bite and in the bin it went. My dog was upset she didn't get any but I wouldn't be so mean as to expect her to eat it. Massively disappointed.
