The best tasting burgers for me (the Pulled Beef is a must try! - Limited Edition). Despite the mediocre service I've received multiple times, I just brush it off. Well, we only have one BurgerFuel here in Hastings anyway. Our go-to work lunch incentive. Sadly, every time I order online, I end up waiting for more than 10 mins as they have either just started cooking or not even midway the order at the time of the pickup. Which can be frustrating when the spare time I have is just to head out work and pick up. Customer Service can be better. You get a mix of staff smiling and some with frown on their faces. The last few times we dined in, the burgers were just placed on the table and we needed to check which one was which by opening the top bun. They have free parking spots and on the street as well, which is not bad, but just a few metres away from a busy roundabout, so park and exit with caution. Overall very good but the cashier gave us bad information. We were told that the free birthday burger offer applied to any burger but apparently it only works for the cheapest in your order. The burgers were a bit too saucy, had the burnout and kids cheeseburgers The kids found them hard to eat, but they were nice and well made otherwise. Great friendly service Food took about 15 mins during the busy lunchtime period. I like how they are thoughtful about the packaging and everything is compostable, and stainless steel serving trays Aoli and chips are always yum. Server was polite. Food was quick but 1 X burger with 2 X massive hairs in it🤢 I pulled out 1 and tried to ignore because I was starving then found another big black hair. Lost my appetite and felt sick afterwards. I am disappointed because takeaways around Hastings are incredibly average…couldn’t eat my Kūmara fries either I felt so sick I kept spitting like I could feel the hairs in my mouth. They have an online ordering sign, which looks like where you collect your order placed online. However, this is not the case and the customer service is severely lacking at this branch.
