Ordered the barramundi, steak and lamb chop and all of them were delicious and reasonably priced. Beer was fresh out of tap and paired well with our food. Boss was super friendly to all of us and we had a great chat him. No doubt we will visit again.

Spaghetti was slightly overcooked for carbonara.
Brocolli on chicken chop was nicely paired with fried onion and rosti (hash?) were nice though little disappointed in the sauce.
The space and interior of the shop felt spacious and bright~ very pleasant.

Love this place! I came here originally because of the Burpple 1-for-1 offer, and was so impressed that I have returned multiple times since and paid full price to try the rest of the menu. Chicken chop and lamb chops are my fav. Staff is great, place is very cosy and everything is reasonably priced and delicious.

Alright overall, Mom overhyped this place haha. Mozzarella sticks were nice, enjoyed the cheese pull! However, we did not like the seafood aglio olio at all. Was looking forward to the wagyu beef burger but the patty was tougher than it should be, and quite dry. Ordered the ribeye steak as well, it was really juicy for medium doneness; beautifully cooked - however it’s under-seasoned so you really have to dive deep into the (pepper/mushroom) sauce + salt too.. Also, BBQ pork ribs were a little dry. But very nice atmosphere overall! Would like to come back for the ribeye steak. Staff were friendly too ✨

Had some Burpple 1-For-1 vouchers and so decided to celebrate my birthday here with my family and some friends. The restaurant is situated at the far end corner of the building and so you'll have to walk past all the other outlets first before seeing it. We had the NZ ribeye steak (medium rare), carbonara, baked barramundi, fries, and Spam fries. The steaks came perfectly done and was nice and juicy on the inside. Personally, I found the cut a little too small for my liking. The carbonara's serving portion was decent and it tasted above average. The baked barramundi was fresh. It was served in a nice tasty fish broth along with a bowl of buttered rice. The fries and Spam fries went well with the beer (They're currently having a beer promotion by the way). My friends had the chicken chop and wagyu beef burgers and they said the wagyu beef burgers were exceptionally good.
With their extensive menu, everyone can be sure of finding something that they'll want to eat. At their affordable price point, I would say the restaurant offers great value for their food. Would I come back here again to try the rest of their menu? I certainly would.

It was our first visit to this new place near our home called Buddies Chef Grill for dinner with my family last night.
We had the Mozzarella Sticks served with Cheese Dip, the Soup of the Day and Spam Fries for appetizers.
The Mozzarella Sticks were so good we had to get a second serving for the kids!
For the main course we had the Breaded Chicken Cutlet and Chicken Chop. The boys had Waygu Burgers and Sirloin steak.
We also had the Ice Cream with Brownies and Ice Cream with Waffles for dessert.
My husband ordered a pint of Asahi Kuronama Black from the tap and the rest of us ordered the fruity flavored sodas.
Overall the food was delicious!
My main course was Charcoal Grilled Chicken Chop with Garlic Butter Vegetables and Onion Rostis. The chicken was tender and juicy, the veggies cooked just right and the Rostis were crunchy. There was a serving of black pepper sauce that added to the flavor of the dish.
The Hunky Hub's Breaded Chicken Cutlet with Mesclun Salad and Fries was very crispy and the serving was good sized for a man his size.
As for the kids, my oldest son had the very juicy Grilled New Zealand Premium Sirloin Ribeye Steak cooked to medium with a side of Garlic Butter Vegetables, Potato Salad and black pepper sauce.
The little boys really enjoyed their tasty Waygu Beef Burgers with Paprika fries and Charcoal Buns.
Our Desserts of Ice Cream with Waffles or Brownies were delicious too.
The servers were very polite and helpful as well.
We would definitely be returning to try out the other items on their menu soon!

(+) Love the chicken chop. Very well marinated. There is a lingering charred taste which lends flavour to every bite.
(+) Fish and chips is not overly battered. It doesn't look crispy but it totally is.
(+) Corn soup is very thick. Lightly salted, and if you prefer saltier soup, you can always use the salt provided.

Was my first time going to Buddies Chef Grill and absolutely loved the atmosphere :) It's a really peacefule environment suitable for a good family meal that is not too far out in the city centre or a quick catch up with friends.
The food, especially the beef was really delicious and we would definitely be back for more to try other things on the menu!
