Because of TPLEX, I haven't passed through Carmen Rosales in Pangasinan for the longest time. It used to be a regular stopover for our travels north. So it was a great surprise to find this Bo's Coffee Shop just right outside of the TPLEX Carmen Rosales Exit. It would have been a great spot had the expressway terminated at Carmen but alas, it now ends in La Union. Nonetheless, with TPLEX access ramps present wherever you are heading, it wouldn't be much of a hassle to include this as a stopover spot. Ambiance is great especially at night. The open air veranda feels relaxing than the inside. But of course, it is just me.
The most amazing part is that there is less people here. Well, I went there on a Sunday night of a long weekend but there are just a handful of people. So if you want to drink your coffee in peace, this place is a must go rather than the more famous yet very crowded options along the expressway or thr National Highway.

They have a drive through and lots of places to dine in - both alfresco and indoors. They also have a second floor inside so, plenty of space for people.
Their prices are OK and their coffee is also good. There is some waiting time for your order though.
They only take cash though. I wish they would do something about accepting other payment methods.
Also, they have their own bathroom but it’s for one person at a time. It’s very clean and everything works but I suppose the only negative thing is that they do not refill their tissue holder. It’s a good thing I always carry some in my bag.
They have plenty of parking and wheelchair ramp.
It’s the perfect stop for coffee and other snacks before re-entering TPLEX.

I ordered a small hot mocha coffee. It was creamy and really chocolatey. Definitely way better than the coffee I ordered from a popular coffee from a stop in NLEX a few weeks ago that made me rush to the comfort room in less than 30mins.
We also ordered their Grilled BLT sandwich (with potato chips included) which was really tasty (although the bacon was a bit salty for seniors who need to avoid too much salt in the diet). The bread is also not soft to bite if one has false teeth.
It's a place with complete food offers (except those with rice) if you need a much needed lunch like we did - grilled sandwiches, pasta choices, and coffee (hot and cold).
The place is cozy and relaxing. It's a place away from the noise and crowd. It has ample parking and a wide, instagrammable yard.
Downside: They only accept cash payments. I wanted to try their pastries but I had limited cash with me so I wasn't able to buy some.

We accidentally found this bo's coffee branch when we went to Rosales, Pangasinan. We did not think twice about having our daily coffee here because we immediately loved the atmosphere. It's very spacious, and can accommodate tons of people. They also have a lot of parking space so it's not a problem, plus they have a drive thru area.

Bo's Coffee Rosales Branch is a hidden gem right before you enter TPLEX, offering a delightful respite for travelers. The standalone coffee shop exudes a cozy charm, and the fact that it's not overly crowded adds to its appeal. My go-to choice is the iced americano, skillfully crafted and perfect for a quick pick-me-up during a journey. The selection of bagels is a pleasant surprise, providing a tasty and convenient option for a quick fill. The combination of a tranquil atmosphere, quality coffee, and satisfying snacks makes Bo's Coffee Rosales a favorite stop for those seeking a refreshing break on the road.

Coffee was good, the usual coffee shop taste. Problem comes from the store not having other payment options than cash.
