Had a steak and mushroom pie today. Am still looking for the meat and mushroom. The gravy and pastry was nice enough but far too pricey at nearly $7. The dinky donut was lovely though

Very clean and great service. Food is always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately it's the 3rd time I asked for a spesific pie and got something else.
Today I asked for pepper steak but got some kind of a steak pie with chillies in it.
Luckly I love chillys! 😉

Horrible over priced food ie $6.80 for a pie. For the SAME pie made by the SAME owner but sold at another stockists bake/cafe stop, you pay $5.80??? When I addressed the staff about the pricing, they were rude and snotty.
I'd give it no stars, if I could.
Do not recommend.

What absolute disgusting reply i got this morning!!
The lady that served me was so rude and abrupt, when i asked in my most friendliest polite way(because you know friendliness cost NOTHING!) if there was perhaps anything keto or lactose free options i got a "this is a cafe we dont". Lady, i hope your day gets better

OK, this is another favourite stop for me when I'm up that way. Thoroughly enjoyed the last two coffees from them and had a very nice milkshake yesterday. A little disappointed the milkshake flavours are depleted so choice is minimal. Good in a way as I was forced to try something different and did enjoy raspberry. Nothing beats my favourite spearmint though!

Delicious savouries however prices are out the gate and waayyy too hot, also fall apart after first bite leaving a big mess. Staff are always nice and polite.

I brought a pie, potato top pie from the little tuck shop on the corner of Maraekakaho Rd and Irongate Rd. Not the greatest potato top pie. It was shrunken and stuck to the paper bag it was in. The pie was in the bag, in the warmer. Looked like it had been there for days. Service was ok.
