Had an excellent meal here in February 2024. The starter of garlic mushrooms was a large portion and tasty too. Veg spring roll starter also very tasty. Large portion main courses were lovely. My wife's chicken fried noodles were fresh and tasty and she was annoyed when I grabbed a forkful to taste. My Szechuan pork was brilliant, spicy just as it should be. Also had a good portion of plain, fluffy rice for 200 rupees. 4 large lion lagers took the bill to 11,200 rupees and whilst not the cheapest, we felt it was well worth the money. Food is tasty .. specially the Chinese items … like chicken fried rice , chicken noodles , chilly chicken … ordered some veg items as well in which schezwan vegetable…juices are also good but my fav was the watermelon juice. … Atmosphere is bit cozy … place is not big … but quite nicely managed and arranged … Service is good … didn’t find any lacks in it ….everything provided as n when ordered Just one weird thing is they asked for cash payments only …no cards or online payment accepted …so had to pay in cash Per person cost in SLR is 2000-2500 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person Rs 500–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chicken Frier Noodles

Excellent food. Great taste and makes you wanting more. We had the vegetable spring roll, vegetable soup, chicken noodles and sri lankan prawn curry...all dishes where cooked to perfection! It was so much food we had to get them to pack it and take it away with us. Beers 1000 rupees for 600ml Vegetable spring roll 350 rupee Sri lankan prawn curry 2500 Chicken noodle + veg soup 2400 Very nice interior design, and servers where very attentive. Tasty food, that meant we went back again for takeout. I liked the various sauces they give to accompany the dishes. We ordered spring rolls for around 400 rupees, large beers at 1000lkr, vegetable soup 900lkr and chicken noodle at circa 1500lkr. The seasoning was on point and properly prepared. Big Belly restaurant is in main road of Mirissa, Ambience is very good with road side views and good music. We had Egg Noodles, Devilled Fish & Prawn for dinner with good taste. Food taste & quantity worth for the price. Little expensive restaurant with good vibe of Mirissa. Food was really good - saw the reviews for the chilli chicken with cashew nuts and decided to order it. And was a little skeptical as we are Chinese but it was really really delicious. Staff told us the chef was only 20years old with 3 years experience too. Portion sizes were generous, we shared a serving of egg fried rice between two ladies and had more rice than we needed. Did not use the four sauces provided as the food was amazing on its own. Will come back again for sure! Edit - went back for more chilli chicken twice more before we left Mirissa. Honestly a very disappointing place. We waited two hours until we got our starter, which was one tiny spring roll which was not even what we ordered after that no one came to pick up our plates and the stuff ignored us until we got the rest of our food one hour later. Considering the prices I got really mad at that treatment and I would recommend everyone to rather support other places in Mirissa. Another great find. The spice level for me when I asked for a Sri Lankan black curry truly was spicy as (be warned!) 🔥 The atmosphere is great upstairs overlooking the main road. The service was impeccable and our waiter was truly a happy chap who wanted to help make sure we had a lovely time. 5 stars all the way. Sorry I didn't take photos of the food ! Next time I will.
