Our first visit and we found this place has good service, friendly staff and prominent location in Royal Oak.
Food can be better. We ordered Tandoori Soya Chaap and Kadhai Paneer.
Soya Chaap was raw as one can see in the picture. I recommend they serve this with thin sliced red onions instead of serving with shredded cauliflower.
We requested Kadhai Paneer to be medium spicy. Paneer was good quality but gravy was sweet and not medium spicy. Rice served with Paneer was good.

The food here is delicious, the portions are decently sized and there is a wide selection to choose from.
I had the lamb Tikka masala, it was good and the lamb was very tender, but I am keen to try the other dishes.
Other people in our group had the Southern Railway curry and chicken mughlai, which tasted really good.
The naan serving sizes are generous enough to eat the curry without rice. If you want rice, it's a good sharing size between 2 people.

Southern Railways Lamb Curry
The service was ordinary; staff members should be more cheerful and a simple question like “how was your meal?” does goes a long way rather than remaining silent.
Otherwise, really enjoyed the lamb venderloo; the butter chicken was cooked to perfection and wasn't overly sweet. The cheese and garlic naan bread was excellent and fresh.

Friendly staff, great prices, awesome Panipuri cart at the front door. You have to try the Panipuri if you have never tried before. It is like a shot of gravy. Panipuri is a deep-fried breaded sphere filled with potato, onion, or chickpea. Good beer options on tap, also bottled available too. We had the onion Baji, which was nice and crispy (not greasy like some can be), vegetable samosa was full of tasty spices. Butter chicken was better than usual for my wife and my Southern Railways Lamb Curry was delicious. Finish off your meal with a sweet mango lassi.

Tasty food...Nice Ambience...We ordered Chicken Gilafi, methi Murg curry with butter garlic roti and naans.. All the items are delicious. However, the disgusting thing happened is they charged extra $2 for asking extra green chutney with our starter. It's not the higher amount but they did not bother to inform us that extra green chutney in that teeny tiny bowl will cost us...It's a bit disappointing about no proper communication from staff. Other than that good food. Should visit atleast once..👍

I rarely write down a review, but my experience with this restaurant has been top notch that it will be a disservice if I don’t give 5 stars. First, the Pani Puri is addicting! It was perfectly crunchy, not oily, and the refreshing flavours melt in with the sauce. Definitely a must try as a starter especially for this hot weather.
My partner had the butter chicken, and it was really creamy and the chicken has a nice smoky taste to it as well. It wasn’t overly sweet, and it had that nice balance of flavours. This will satisfy any cravings for butter chicken.
But apart from the food, the service has been amazing. We actually had a really rough day but the servers were really nice to check on me and honestly that small gesture made my day better. We’ll most 100% come back to try out more dishes and will recommend this to our friends and family. 🙏
