Beautiful and little known to tourists. Many years ago, in the mid-20th century, a tragedy unfolded here. And then there was coffee at this place, where the men of the village were gathering to drink and play. In a scandal, one of the locals accidentally injured the mayor of the village. The mayor died and the man went to jail. In fact, the biggest punishment for him was that he had to live with the guilt of his friend's death.
They wrote a song about this tragedy and so the cafe became known all over Turkey.
The cafe is perched high and offers a magnificent view of the valley and the surrounding hills.
I was impressed by the friendly attitude of the people, their willingness to help me, to explain, to tell, to just sit down and talk to me.
