We came to Batey 3 times during our week long stay and as a couple/group of foodies from NYC, that says a lot about the quality ! Very fresh, very authentic and very affordable (just was a nice change of pace in comparison to the restaurants/bars/clubs that are closer to the beach strip!) I’m honestly not a big fan of mojitos but I was convinced to try one and ended up having 3! That fresh sugar cane added such a nice touch to the flavor profile! The shrimp tacos were literally amazing, I swear I could’ve ate them everyday and been satisfied! The live entertainment was cool and added an interest level to keep our table engaged and ultimately there longer. On our last day as we were headed to the airport, we stopped in for a quick lunch where I got a Michelada and MAN! Top notch, definitely was a great way to end our vacation. 10/10 highly recommend!

The shrimp burrito was the best we had the entire time in Mexico traveling through Quintana Roo.
The mojitos are great too, and the rest of the food is top notch. Nothing too fancy, but great quality and good price.

Came here for the first time yesterday and my experience was okay. The food was pretty mediocre. It didn’t have much flavor and the drinks were also the same. I ordered a mojito and it tasted really watered down. I did love the live music! The group playing was absolutely amazing! I would only recommend coming from the live band and cheap drinks. The food was also very inexpensive.

AMAZING place. Everything was perfect! I’ve been to Tulum and Mexico many times and this is a must visit. Best burrito & the mojitos are so fresh and delicious. The live music was at 7pm and 9pm and seemed to last all night. It was so lively and fun I 100000% recommend.

Best burritos and margaritas ! Totally recommend! This is our to go spot with my husband when we are in Tulum! Price is very affordable and the food is delicious !!! The live music is especially relaxing and entertaining.

There’s a little mojito station where you can house your own sugarcane so I could just leave the review there. The vibe here is immaculate and the food is unreal as well. Definitely the best burrito I had in Mexico and came back multiple times

Truly an enjoyable spot! Their mojitos could rival those in Havana. The genuine atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is also pretty nice. The live music 🎶 added so much to our experience. It was a fantastic evening, and the place was full of energy.

This place is super fantastic! It's every lively and has live music about every night. If you like mojito, OMG they do fresh pressed sugar cane! Whaaat? Who does that? It's sooo amazing! Even comes with a fresh stick of sugsr csne in the drink to chew on. 😵
