Such a lovely find, recommended by our taxi driver, always the best way to find out where to go to avoid getting ripped off. Great food and at the right prices too. Chefs made the meals a few feet from us, old school no nonsense, local produce and severed by an adorable lady who booked us a cab back to the Chedi at Lustica Bay.

Mixed experience. First visit was great on an empty afternoon, food good, acceptable price and ok service. On the second visit, the quality of the dishes were "edible" at best, had to chase the waiter and the crazy amount of flies made it almost impossible to sit in peace. - I'd still recommend it, to experience a local food place, but once is enough. ;-)

The food was awesome at a reasonable price, lower than that of multiple places. However some of the meats and fish were tougher than usual.
We had a kind waitress that gave us amazing recommendations.
The restaurant had alot of bees and flies as it was open air and that there was grapes growing on the roof so we were waving our hands multiple times try to keep them at bay.

The best meals we had out of 12 restaurants we tried in Kotor!
4 of us ate here for lunch on our last day of a week long holiday. We liked it so much we went back that evening for dinner! The prices were the most reasonable of all the other restaurants we tried. The goulash and sea bass were superb as were the portion sizes.

This is a fantastic authentic restaurant with home cooked meals and large portions for an affordable price. I enjoyed the Greek salad and stuffed peppers with mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was seasoned well and made with love. I came to this restaurant as a suggestion from the wonderful woman who works in the information booth. She gave the best recommendation!
Granted, we had a large group of over 20 people, but they knew we were coming quite a while in advance, and even then, it still felt like we were imposing upon them. The atmosphere wasn't welcoming at all, and there was only a couple of large fans that lazily stirred the air in the corners. My companions did say that the bathrooms were okay and clean, at least.
We weren't told any of the options for the drinks when we sat down, and all the soft drinks and water came in cans and small, glass bottles, even when we were told they were the 'large' bottles.
Our in-house travel agent had requested a typical Montenegrin dish as our midday meal, and the two servers started rushing out the plates about 10 minutes after we sat down. I still have no idea what they actually served us. There was a piece of tenderized meat that had been folded over and stuffed with cheese. It was covered in a tomato sauce that was similar to goulash. It was served with a side of quite greasy fried potatoes and a side of what I think might have been a sort of (mushy) risotto with peas and broccoli. I'm not sure what the folks with food allergies/vegans among us were served apart from some grilled veggies and a mixed salad with mostly oil for a dressing. It was far too hot and heavy a meal to eat at that time of day, especially after we had just finished a long walking tour of the Old Town. I couldn't finish it personally, although my travel companions did their best.
Dessert was plain strawberries - no sugar, (whipped) cream, or ice cream to be had. Some of the strawberries had been sliced in half while others had been left whole, and some weren't even ripe yet.
The older woman who served us was quite gruff and cranky. She seemed to get upset when one of my friends at the table didn't finish one of the unripe strawberries (it was still completely white), snatching up the bowl and walking off, muttering to herself.
Honestly, I was glad to leave.
Mostly local customers but staff understand English very well. Very large proportion, reasonably priced and delicious! Bolognese is posted in the hot starter section but it was bigger than main dish size! Tomato salad must have like 3 tomato’s worth! This whole meal with sparking water was 10.50€.
We came to this restaurant on the advice of our Airbnb host. We were disappointed as we didn't feel it was that great. We ordered the seafood mix plate. It was okay. Admittedly, we live in southern Italy where the food is always amazing, and so for us this food was quite average and nothing special. We came during midday when the place had hardly any customers, and it felt kind of awkward since the person who helped us didn't speak much English, and after we received our food, the cooks seemed to be taking a smoke break outside and staring in our direction while we were eating.
Also we got the stuffed peppers. I had these at a different restaurant before coming here and when I got them here, they were honestly flavorless. Maybe that is just how they make them here, but for me, I had to put a lot of salt to make it taste like anything. We also got a Greek Salad, and that was actually very good, my favorite part of the meal. The feta cheese was the best part of the salad, and the veggies were crispy. However, the quality of the salad does not make me want to change my review, based on the other aspect of the meal and the overall experience.
So, overall, my rating of 3 stars or "It's okay" sticks and I don't feel bad leaving this review. This restaurant has a great location being right outside the gate of old town, but I think there is much they can do to up their game. Perhaps they don't need to be a great restaurant because of their location, and supply and demand.

Nice Local restaurant. Friendly welcoming service.
Also vegetarian options (side dishes) - very delicious. If you looking for some vegetarian local food that's the place to go.
