This is not a hotel although, confusingly, there is an AirBnB in the same building but they are separate businesses.
The restaurant is easily the best in this area and probably the best on the island. We ate here three times while on Statia and it was exceptional every time. The food was creative, well presented, very flavorful and satisfying. Too many standouts to list, but the "not Japanese" style sushi was really good. The chicken and mushrooms another favorite. The owner is attentive and extremely professional - he really knows food service. The only real negative was the live acoustic musician "Diego", who to be blunt was mind-numbingly bad. Thankfully only on one night but we skipped dessert to get away from that.
Worth noting: the restaurant closed during the afternoon from around 2-5 or so, best call ahead to confirm. And if you want one of the tables right by the water a reservation is a good idea.
Barrel House, it has been awhile since I posted my first review and it's getting better and better.Chef Iwan and his crew do an amazing job to make your dinner into an unforgettable enjoyable culinaire experience, all that for a very reasonable price. For me it's the best bistrot/restaurant on the island.Haute Cuisine !
We had a perfect Tuna salade a few days ago and today we enjoyd a very nice cake with a good cappuccino! The staff is very friendly. Hopefully we can anjoy dinner there too our last day at Statia.

This little gem of a spot has the best food we have experienced in the Caribbean. Loved the patio right on the water. A must visit when you're on St Eustatius.

Great food, views and friendly staff. Cocktails are great too. Would recommend to add some afternoon snacks to the menu - this is a perfect place to unwind
