Vistied from Auckland and think Bare Knuckles food was better than any BBQ restaurant I've been to in Auckalnd. This place is a must if in Hastings. The food was perfect! Loved the Kiwi music playlist and Vanessa was great!

Despite the acceptable food at Barenuckle Bar-B-Que, the inflated prices diminished its value. The lack of attention to empty glasses and plates, combined with a lackluster ambiance, transformed the experience from potentially enjoyable to ultimately disappointing.

Absolutely delicious food.
Had the best mash potato I've ever had at a restaurant!!
17/12/23 went here for lunch, was a lovely sunny day so sat outside. Lots of seat inside and out. Lots of good options,and the prices are really good. I LOVE THE FOOD HERE, especially the Brisket Burger and Brisket meal

Food was great, if a little lack luster on presentation. Tasted amazing though and well cooked and seasoned.
What got me was the prices, they aren't super high for what you get. But I would have liked some sort of sauce or gravy with my brisket for how much they charge. The sides are over priced also.

What an amazing place to eat and super friendly staff. Mac n cheese with pulled pork was amazing. Great outdoor area. Highly recommend everything about bareknuckle. No food photos as hovered it too fast lol.

Total change for the better since the last time we're here (new owners).
Food awesome and didn't wait long. Staff friendly and chatted with one of the owners. Great for families and activities for the kids while you wait for your meal.
$20 something menu great value for money and big selection (great for a date night).
Only minor thing would be cost of ribs and amount (you get a lot, I couldn't finish it). Would like to see smaller portion option offered.
Apart from that thoroughly deserved 4/5, we'll be back!

Came here for brunch and absolutely love that there is a family-friendly place to eat, the food incredible and the staff was so welcoming. The waiter (Happy) we had was top-notch and we didn't need to wait long at all. I would highly recommended this place to anyone who appreciates beautifully cooked meat :)

This is by far a favourite restaurant of mine since the new owners have taken over! Such friendly people/ staff, there are even fun activities for the kids while you’re waiting :) Owners are lovely and we always have a little yarn before our meals come out - love the new look, love the new menu, love the vibe!!!

Definitely not for the small stomached. Beautiful melting-in-you-mouth meat, really well priced for the food. Great atmosphere, friendly servers. Many shaded spots, great outdoor area with games and toys for kids.
