The food was really tasteful, very good, but the prices are higher compering to what you find even here in the old city center. Payed 50 euros for what you see in the pictures.

Doner has no taste! Kabab was ok, onion rings were good, fries were disastrous. Prices are soooo expensive. Service was great and street view from inside table was cool. Will not come back again.

Came here to praise an amazing food we had yesterday AND today ... just to see all 1-star reviews 😂 and I'm confused because it was absolutely delicious for us. We had 5-6 different dishes (5 portions all together), and it came up to 410 lira. Every dish was absolutely incredible. It's not a restaurant per se, but more of a in-and-out kind of place, so i wouldn't expect any special atmosphere. But as for the food goes, it was mouthwatering 😘😍🙌

Lamb Shanks
The service was crazy fast. The food was really good. They were out of a lot of options, but we had lentil soup, lamb shank, white beans, spinach, and some bread. The soup was really delicious. The lamb was so tender that it just fell off the bone. The spinach and the beans were seasoned really flavorablely.
The menu said that 10% service fee was not added, but the 10% was added to the check when we received it. Honestly, I felt like the waiters deserved it.
I have read the other less than favorable reviews, but I have to say that I left Baran very satisfied. I would go back without hesitation.
I would suggest going early in the day before they run out of some of their menu items..

Really good food and friendly service. Some vegetarian options as well. I had the spinach dish which was a large portion, a bulgur side dish and complimentary bread. Everything was tasty and fresh. It’s mentioned that a 10% service charge is added which is fine so you don’t need to add an additional tip if you don’t want to.

Food quality: cold (apparently all cooked in the morning or served cold).
Price: too high and charged 23 lira for service charge. Worst service I've ever had in my life.
When I told them the food was cold, they put it all in the microwave.
Also, the manager told me if I don’t want then I can go, but I need to pay the full amount.
I have never ever seen this kind of service and food scam in my life.
I’m sure it’s not run by the owner. But the owner should take care of it.
Please avoid it!
I have travelled to Istanbul over 5 times and I must say this place was definitely one of the most pathetic places I have ever come across when you talk about the food quality, taste and the “price” that you pay for what you get !!
Costed me 1100 Turkish lira for two wraps ,hummus (disgusting) and two drinks

The food was fresh. It’s because we were there early morning but i think it’s very expensive not worth it to pay. With this price you can eat at very nice Restaurants nearby. I paid 1400++ TRY.And some of the food that i ordered is not right cooked. Next they will charge you everything that you ate such as the Chili Sauce or Mayonnaise Sauce .At another Restaurant i always can get it for free. very disappointed ☹️
