Pork belly banh mi 7.5/10 Ampol amounts of carrot, asked for a pork belly banh mi, not a carrot banh mi. Preferred more coriander as well. Not a place to sit and eat, hence atmosphere is at 1. The service was nice. Look like awesome people. Overall, the banh mi was good. The bread has a great crunch. I just feel like a lot has changed there over a 1 year period because the last time I came here, their banh mi was remarkably exceptional. I love this place, I come here quite often. Super nice staff and great food at affordable prices keeps me coming back for more. Super delicious! Highly recommended. This place is officially my favorite Banh Mi shop in the north island. It is affordable, fresh and extremely delicious. The pictures dont do this place justice, as all the meat is hidden underneath the pickled carrots. The staff are very nice and offer exceptional customer service. We ended up eating here 3 times in the 2 days we stayed and will definitely be coming back. This place made the 4hr drive worth it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered the Pulled Pork on chips, which came with salad aswell, which was delicious. Also ordered the Banh Mi Pulled Pork Bun which was also very tasty. Definitely will be back, everything was super fresh and scrumptious.

I had the BBQ beef burger, and it was delicious. There aren't many good places to get a burger in Hawke's Bay anymore. This is the best burger I've had in Hawke's Bay at a restaurant still in business. The fries are simple, but they also taste better.
