Favorite place in a bay after 7 nights going to lots of different places. Food is 10/10. Laid back staff, which I love. Don't come here if you are in a rush or impatient. Good music and vibes. Food well priced. All round a winner!

Despite the numerous restaurants in Arugambay, our best memories and most often we returned restaurator, during our week-long stay were to Bambini. Food, including fresh whole grilled fish and shrimps 🍤 combined with a cool atmosphere, lamps, board games, pick-up tables and music, complemented the wonderful surfing days. I hope we will be able to come back someday 🫡❤️

Just had the best curry in Arugam bay here at Bambineis. Had the traditional vegetable curry and it was amazing! Each different curry was great. Dusha was so welcoming and gave us 10/10 service. Not to mention this curry was a decent price (800Rs). Would recommend.
One of the best locations for authentic Rice & Curry in Arugam Bay. They use a lot of spices and for only 800 lkr you get definitely full here. They even have Soy Meat Curry on the menu. The owner and his team are really friendly and will make feel like at home :-)

Bambini's, simply one of the best or maybe the best restaurant in Arugambay, little bit away from the main point so many people don't know this amazing place.
Mahesh is such an amazing and kind hearted person and rest of the staff, including the chef who makes delicious food are awesome.
They're so flexible with the food items they provide, if you want it non spicy, without whatever you don't like they'd do for you. They're so caring and supportive to their customers, in the end you'd leave as a friend of Mahesh, not as a customer.
The open mic sessions they do are simply amazing as well and they have different games you can play while you wait for your food or even after having food.
I truly enjoyed their food, hospitality and fun times during my stay in Arugambay. Highly recommended without any doubts.

Bambini’s is my favorite restaurant in Arugam Bay :) lovely owner, relaxed atmosphere and the most delicious rice and curry! You can even play games like uno or chess while waiting on the food. You should definitely try the rice and curry and the extra mango curry, if you fancy something special :)
One of the best restaurants we have been so far in Aruguam bay and Sri Lanka in general. Really authentic. We had only vegetarian dishes and everything was full of flavors. Plus you get this quality food for good prices. The service was great as well. Just a little sad that it is placed along the street.

We had dinner of 6. We ordered shakes and varried dishes (we asked not spicy). They have many choises to choose, which is good when you come with children!
You can have local and western food.
Until the food was ready we played games, which was really fun, and time flew until the food had arrived.
Everything was absolutely perfect and not spicy :-) We didn't take pictures, the food had disappeared before we thought about it :-D The atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy. Mahesh was very friendly and welcoming!
