As always we wanted to try something different and we are so glad that we did! Of course we almost missed it because there was another restaurant in front, but when we went around the side we saw it. When we went in, we were the only ones there. The girl behind the counter made a couple of good recommendations. (Pizza. Wings, and burgers are the most popular items) so we gave it a shot and she was right. The pizza was super fresh and the crisp was right on point! The friend mushrooms were delicious and the pazone was really good also! This place is definitely a little hole in the wall. Come to find out they are building a new shop right across the street which should be open by the end of the year and we are so excited to go to this new location. The current store has some pretty cool decorations but it's definitely run down. But over all great experience and we will be back!

Pepperoni Pizza
My family and I recently moved to Hockley from another state. Our old home state had, hands down, some of the best pizza. Unfortunately, due to work reasons, we had to relocate to Texas. After trying Backdoor Pizza for the first time today, we've found our replacement for our previous pizza parlor. The crust is crispy but not too crispy. Nobody likes cardboard pizza. These guys however have the taste and texture down to a science. We will be stopping by whenever that pizza fix needs satisfaction.

We are from St Louis and stumbled on this place … definitely will be back when we are in town! Had the Brooklyn pizza and it was delicious! Next time have to try the burgers … several folks were having those and they looked scrumptious!
Our granddaughter couldn’t leave without the Blue Bell ice cream!

Perfect pizza for Texas. As a pizza snob it’s nearly impossible to find something close to the east coast. Back Door pizza is the only place that competes, it took 17 years to find it around here.
You are missing out if you don’t stop in. The pizza is cooked perfectly, the dough is crispy and chewy. They use full fat mozzarella and have great toppings. The calzones are delicious and if you like cannolis… get one. It’s the best I’ve had here.
The current location will change soon as they are building a new strip mall across the street.

I absolutely love this place! Anytime guests come in town, we make sure to take them there. I am so ready for them to move to their new building though, the floors are falling in, and everything is kind of dingy inside. Clean, but needs renovating. I know they are ready to move too!

The best pizza I’ve ever had, the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had, the best cannolis I’ve ever had and the best cookies I’ve ever had. Those are the only things I’ve tried so far but I’m positive everything else is delicious. Go try this place out you won’t regret it, it is amazing!

Having lived in New York City and having access to some of the best pizza in the world, I can tell you that Backdoor Pizza is the best pizza around. If you are seeking great, not just good, but great food, this is the place. Their salads are excellent and the wings are the best around.
The reason for two stars on the atmosphere is they haven’t moved into the new shop yet and the current one is run down. I can’t wait for the new store to open in essentially the same location.

Excellent customer service service, service was great and the food came quick. Mom and pop kind of place with great tasting food. Even if you have it to-go the flavor is still there. Most definitely motorcycle friendly and conveniently close to 290. A must stop when going to Austin
