The owner personally took care of us. Great live music, exceptional wine, and lovely miniature dessert tray!! Highly recommend. 👍🙌🙌
We came back the next day for lunch. We started with tuna tartar tapas. Wow! It was a truly exceptional meal - honey/dijon mustard glazed salmon with basil pesto. Highly recommend!!!

My family and I stumbled upon this place and were so happy we did! The owner/somm was extremely welcoming and truly passionate about his business, food, & wine. He let us taste several wines to help us make our decision and provided extra info about the menu. He happily accommodated vegetarian diet. We had the Mediterranean plate, 5 cheese plate, two pasta dishes, several wines, and desert and it was all delicious! We loved this place and would definitely go back—highly recommend!

Delicious! It's a quaint little restaurant, tended by ita owner, Enoch. We tried the cantaloupe covered with Serrano ham and the xcatic dip with the house bread, paired with a glass of wine: sublime! Enoch was very friendly and his service was amazing! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Enoch, the owner, sommelier, chef and host will greet you at the front door with a refreshing glass of white wine. His wine inventory is amazing, including some great wines from Mexico. His food menu has something for everyone. He really makes you feel at home in his cute, cozy wine bar.

We have been traveling Mexico for 2 weeks, and finally saw this wine bar on Google maps. We were the first costumers of the evening - which sometimes feels a little awkward but we were welcomed immediately. We got to taste so many wines before we eachbdecided on a glass, and every time we ordered another we got a free winetasting of wines from different countries. We ordered the cheese board, bruchetta and olives, and had an evening we will never forget. The cheese was carefully selected and went great with the wine. The wines were extraordinary and the cheeses really elevated the tastes. We definitely want to come back! The owner is so nice, we asked him so many questions about the wine and cheeses and he answered them all and was very social and kind. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe at Bacchus, we'll be back 🍷

We tried here while on holiday, sadly it was out last night in Merida and we had an early flight as the food and the wine was excellent, it was lovely to try local wine. The service was impeccable, so friendly and genuine, I highly recommend a visit

Such a lovely place! We found it as we were looking for good wines (Mexicans mainly sell cocktails and beers) and we were not disappointed. The owner just started 5 months ago but knows everything about wines. The hospitality is amazing, you can try the wine before you order. The environment is cozy and nice and the food is delicious. Definitely a go to place in Merida if you are wine lover!

Quiet, atmospheric and lovely, Bacchus is a bubble of tranquility. Painting the scene with delicate harp music, I was drawn in by my smiling host and a great selection of wine. I was offered to taste some Mexican reds and opted to go with a 2019, "El perdón", which I paired with the house hummus. They have Tapas to keep the focus on the wine, and what wine they have! (See photos)
I was served fresh warm pita accompanied by a trio of olives and delicious hummus, which squared beautifully with the wine. The owner and his waiter will treat you like royalty, you will not be disappointed.
