Disappointed 😔, it’s taken a minute for me to do this review… the reviews were what made me book dinner here and we were excited!!! Fresh pasta oh lala….. the pasta is packet pasta that I could have cooked better the chicken in the pasta was precooked and shedded the mushroom sauce ( not a ragú as listed on menu) was so hot, it was officially there to heat the rest of the dish but failed, the service was lovely and attentive and a very nice looking restaurant the lamb was delicious, entree was so so… Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Absolutely love Area 41, the ambience is wonderful, service is perfect and the food - just WOW! The best Pasta I have ever had. Highly recommend the Spinach Gnocchi paired with a Romance in Rome cocktail. Perfect place for a nice quiet date night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Huge menu including great choice for vegetarians, plenty of seating, central location in a heritage building, exquisite presentation and delicious preparation…..what more can one ask for! There is only one problem- to make the decision on what to order. I had a few different dishes shared between a few of us. Each one was delectable, and different from the usual stuff. “What’s different?” - you might ask. Why not try it the next time you are in New Plymouth?! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good atmosphere and good staff. Only pork belly is quite disappointing me, $44 with just ok taste and alike frozen veggies. I believe it can do much better with this price. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
