Pro: really nice view, live music on the weekends. Desserts are great. Breakfast is good. Wine is good. Con: Food is just so-so, really expensive. Service quality is not consistent.

Great service. Good food. The meal plan makes it affordable; otherwise it can add up. Tasty steak. Excellent desserts. The smoothies are made of real fruit (unlike throughout the rest of the resort). Try the peach basil smoothie, omelette (insist on the creole salad or they won’t bring it), and barbacoa tacos. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Beautiful presentation, wonderful farm to table freshness, delicious flavors, amazing view, and excellent service by Alex, Kareli, and Alfredo at Anica restaurant for breakfast. Food was ok, very TexMex/American which we were trying to avoid, for the price it’s not gourmet. Food could be much better. Service was terrible, our server was slow and ignored us because we were young and Mexican so instantly he treated us differently than the white American table next to us who he was so pleasant and gave extra care to compared to us. It was evident he didn’t care for us and we tried to be nice to him in different ways but he just passed us by. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Best restaurant we’ve ever eaten at for an all-inclusive resort. Very impressed. The prices are a bit absurd if you don’t have the all-inclusive package. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Always amazing food, the chef is a master and service top notch! Special thanks to Antonio tonight, and the rest of the crew outstanding service! I enjoyed the watermelon on the salad too adds sweetness to balance the dish. The Cornish Hen sauce was perfect paring. We requested abanero salsa for extra kick. Wow, spicy but we could not stop adding more of it, it blended nicely with the dishes.
