Fantastic!! My mother and I ate on the patio with a glorious view of the sea and mountains.
The food was incredible and the staff was super awesome.
I brought my 5 month old son and the staff was very attentive of whether we needed anything for our baby.
We don't smoke so, just so there are no surprises, smoking is allowed on the patio.
All in all I would HIGHLY recommend the restaurant!! Food, service, views, everything was amazing! You have to check it out if you're in Herceg Novi!!!

Great restaurant along the promenade in Herceg Novi. We stopped first for a few drinks and food during the day and had a lovely caprese salad. Went back in the evening the following day and had some beautiful homemade gnocchi as well as a lovely Dalmatian stew. Service was also great. Would definitely recommend!

I got a very small dry portion of meat when supposedly it should be filled with cheese. The sauce was okay at best. But with this prices it should be so much better. The waiter was very unpleasant and disrespectful. They charged us 10 euros more than the reciept stated without any notion of tips or anything. I really don't have a problem with tipping waiters but this guy didn't deserve a dime. I would never recommend dinning here. I'm very disappointed, and I went home pretty hungry after dinner.

The setting is great, on the water in Herceg Novi. We only tried the Calzone, which was only okay. The sauce was more like catsup than a proper tomato sauce. The prin size was large.

Nice location and friendly service. Fish soup and Greek salad are recommended, the spaghetti carbonara however is not: it is full of hard pieces of bone. Not all the drinks on the menu are available, but this may be due to us coming out of season.
This place and their service were so wonderful and the food was extremely good! We had the ancora seafood platter which was very generous in terms of portions and the side dishes were also amazing. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Montenegro. We were with a big group of 10 people and they were very accommodating to us even though we were with so many people. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Herceg Novi!

A group of 6 of us ate at this vine covered restaurant on the seafront. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good range of food on the menu. We were presented with the fresh fish on a platter to help with our choices. Whilst we were waiting, we were treated to complementary bread and a selection of homemade dips. The food was good quality, decently priced and good sized portions. The main down side, understandably beyond Ancora's control, is that there was a bar just down the promenade playing extremely loud dance music, somewhat shattering the ambience.

The person in charge of the sunbeds was very rude. He set his own rules on the beach, asks you to approach him first, ask permission. We passed by, decided to relax on this beach, we had ice cream in our hands, which we didn’t donly. The staff member with the beard in charge of the sunbeds was very rude. Because of this employee with a beard, there is no desire to visit the beach and this institution ((I ask the restaurant management to take action. We are not the first to whom he speaks rudely.
