Octopus Salad
We were happy to find this great place with fantastic fish, very nice friendly service and good reviews. Dinner here made us absolutely happy. Highly recommended!
It’s all about the fish here. They really know how to grill fish to perfection. Well seasoned & tender. The same parsley garlic sauce is on everything but it’s tasty and works. We had a sea bass, mussels, shopska salad, octopus salad, potato salad (would skip the last two salads next time - not bad, just not noteworthy). I’d get a bigger fish next time
- it was great.
Also they do take credit cards but you must tell them up front that you want to pay by card otherwise it causes a huge kerfuffle. Cost was the same whether via cash or card but it really put them off and they admonished us for not telling them up front.
Also a star taken off for allowing smoking inside the restaurant next to our table with little children despite a big no smoking sign on the wall. I get it’s a cultural thing but it’s a huge appetite turn off.
Amazing food and excellent service. The best fresh sea food i had in montenegro so far. The owner Hodo was very generous and kind. You have to try the squid salad and the cheese salad.
At first, I thought it was a your normal average restaurant, but when they made us to pick the fresh they brought from the sea at that very morning, the way they cooked all the fishes, I was impressed! Tasty and fresh appraisers, well seasoned and cooked main dish and their fries were heavenly cooked.
We tried this place on our last night in Ulcinj and after eating at many fish restaurants throughout Montenegro for the last 2 weeks this has to be some of the tastiest fish we've had yet. We tried sea bass and sea bream and both we're delicious. The secret sauce they put on the fish is amazing, definitely get it! The owner was also very welcoming and friendly and explained the types of fish they had and made sure we had a great experience. Definitely don't miss this place when you visit Ulcinj!

Excellent home style Montenegrin seafood. We had the sea bass and sea brim and they were wonderful. The owner is extremely nice and the restaurant is reasonably priced. The owner told us he has owned the restaurant for 40 years.
