Japanese fusion restaurant located inside the Casa Las Tortugas hotel. Food is delicious and there are plenty of choices- from single sashimi pieces expertly crafted from fresh ingredients to larger rolls and bowls which can be shared. The service is outstanding which is true for the hotel and 2 other restaurants located at and near the property namely Luuma and Mandarina Grill. Added bonus: great sunset views from the main dining area as the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Absolutely amazing place, it’s a bit more expensive so keep that in mind. The waiters were extremely patient and taking care of us. We had several dishes and all had a really good tatste and presentation as you can see on the photo’s. And later on the evening some live music from downstairs and the sun going down made our first night on Holbox complete. Meal type Dinner Price per person $1,000+
Last night we spent a really beautiful evening here. The sushi rolls, dumplings and sashimi are some of the best I've ever tasted. Accompanied by delicious kombuchas , cider and cocktails. The service and decor show a true attention to detail and stand way above the rest. A great place for a stylish evening. We'll definitely be back.

The negative reviews about this restaurant baffle me. We had the best meal of our vacation at AMA. Considering the limitations of sushi on a literal island, we found the menu to be exceptionally tasty, adventurous and comparable to any Japanese restaurant back home in Los Angeles. Definitely a hidden gem.
I tried three different rolls here, one of them is probably the best sushi I've ever eaten. If you come here, go for the specialty rolls. You'll spent more but it's worth, not many options though. Price per person $1–100

If I could give a negative response to this place I would. It was the worse sushi I have had in my life. The grocery store could have made better. I had to walk out to the actual cooks (thank goodness they are amazing) of the island in the square to get something that could actually be called food. Hopefully everyone avoids this place.
If I could of given a zero I would of. The sushi falls apart. It taste nasty and it’s way over priced. We left hungry and had to go to the food carts outside to get something that didn’t taste like garbage. We paid 30$ a plate and only revived 7 pieces of sushi. Never go to this place… EVER!
Service was personalized, sushi was fresh and creative. Truffle oil on the shrimp was awesome. I will go back a few times next trip.
We really enjoyed our experience here. The staff were extremely patient and accommodating with our 2 year old, and the food was really good. The decor and the view are beautiful too
