We stopped by Alma Verde after running some errands to have a light breakfast. The restaurant is modern in appearance and features wood tones and simple wood chairs and tables in the dining room. We ordered a Dulce de Leche Latte and a special citrus hot tea to drink. I ordered Avocado Toast which comes on sourdough bread with hummus and my partner ordered a Quinoa Hash Brown dish to eat. Both of the drinks were served in beautiful coffee mugs and tasted amazing. I had to control myself because I could have easily drank it down quickly and ordered more. The Avocado Toast had a large serving of avocado served on top of the hummus ok the sourdough break. It was delicious and I would definitely order it again. My partner felt the same about the hash browns. Service at the restaurant was both friendly and efficient in nature. All employees appeared to be working hard and smiled often at diners. Parking was by valet only unless you want to drive around the area and look for street parking which can be difficult to find. We really enjoyed our time at Alma Verde and will be back. Wow! My portobello egg benedicts were amazing! The truffle sauce paired with them 👌 🔥 😋 . My brother got the green chilaquiles and he said they were soooo good! I also had their blue spirulina matcha latte which was pretty good. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $300–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'll be living out of this restaurant during my stay. It's the only place I could find that's gluten free and celiac safe. Even though I speak no Spanish, the staff have been very friendly and helpful. The food is also quite good. It's expensive though but at least I haven't gotten sick yet.
A friend took me to Alma Verde for brunch. I love the bright and open vibe of the restaurant. From me host, to the waitress, to the other staff in the restaurant, everyone was so friendly and kind! The food was not only beautiful, but so tasty! I had the dairy-free chilaquiles and they blew my mind!!! The Flu Shot was delicious and the dairy-free blue matcha was also so, so good! I can't wait to go back!

If you are a vegetarian, DO NOT miss this gem! Ordered the Matcha latte, cauliflower tacos, and truffle corn. Everything was delicious 🤤!!! They give complimentary habanero chips & salsa matcha. Those condiments are over the top good. I wanted to bring some of the habanero chips home to San Diego; so I shamelessly requested if I could buy some from them. The guys working at the store, called up the owner, and after talking to him, they gave me a generous takeout cup of free habanero chips to take home. So sweet! I’m forever grateful! ❤️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place is delicious!!! My girlfriend and have a very healthy diet and this place suits out needs. The place is warm and very welcoming, It's 2 stories high and I personally like the environment upstairs a lot more than downstairs! My favorite dish last the burger with sweet potato fries, my second favorite is the chilaquiles verdes. All their breakfast options are on point, I've tried almost everything in their menu and I'll keep coming back for more! Parking is very efficient and the service is quick! Their staff is very respectful and really nice.
This chic, yet authentic, Mexican breakfast cafe is super cute! With modern decor, tons of plants, and beautiful woodwork. All of the food was SO GOOD. We ordered the Chilaquiles for an authentic Mexican dish, and a Croque Madame, which was served with mild peppers and a side of Chile Morita. While both were amazing, the Chilaquilles were the best I've had - simple yet flavorful. The coffee and smoothies were delicious, and offered a great start to our day of adventure.
When I arrive, I wasn't sure if I could seat anywhere or wait for someone, since they had a assigned place for a hostes in the front as soon as you open the door but Noone was there. It was uncomfortable since servers just looked at me. For the first time coming and by myself not so good. Servers don't look inviting or enjoyable. My server she gave me the QR and left. I was trying to get someone's attention to order, and it took a while. Scramble eggs were good, chilaquiles , lacking sauce, crema, and no flavor.. a disappointment, if service was good at least that will be different. I have been wanting to pay for the last 15 min, and no one has come and asked if everything was ok or checked on me. BTW, Chai was really good, great flavor Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $200–300 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Yes, definite favorite for the weekend. Thought I only visit for brunch, this place is open until 10pm. Renovated menu is full of options, really fresh beverage bar. Gotta try the Lemonella (I’ll include a pic) and you can never go wrong with the house CHILAQUILES.
