I am not kidding when I say this - The best Srilankan food I had in my entire trip. Keeping mind I stayed at nice hotels such as Cinnamon hotels and I ate very good.||||It was funny how I found this restaurant. I was with my guide in Habarana town and I asked him to take me to a good authentic sri lankan restaurant. He went to his car and he was searching and I saw a white lady with a dog on a leash. I was quiet surprised to see a dog on a leash there - so I started the conversation with her. It turned out she is from France and we spoke in French - I know some. Lol I asked her for a restaurant and she talked about her restaurant and she asked me what I wanted to eat. Her chef was with him buying fresh fruits and vegetables.||||So I went there with my guide and had a cold beer and food arrived. I asked for Iddyappam - Srilankan noodles lol. With chicken curry, potatoes. Best iddyappam all of Sri Lanka.||||Since the food was so good I went back for lunch next day - buffet. Oh my god - delicious. Fried fish 5**** - Lots of fresh vegetables curries. Not too spicy.||||Fantastic servers, cook, atmosphere. Most of all the owner Carole - very welcoming and pleasant. Prices were reasonable for a fabulous meal.||||Just for the meal there, I would travel 30 hours.||||Must try if you are around Sigiriya or Habarana.||||Thank you team Aliya Pink.||||Merci beaucoup Carole.
I would rate 3.8/5|Buffet in clay pots, lot of choise. Good dishes with a lot of vegetables (pumpkin, aubergine). It seems sometimes hard to get a lot of vegetables in Sri Lanka. Also good tofu curry and dried fish topping. Tasty.|Frensh lady, her husband cooks good food!|Nice open place close to the road, ideal for quick lunch. Paid 2500 roepie for 2 persons buffet with soda drink.|
We had their Srilankan buffet of rice and curry. The food was tasty. A good midway stop if you are travelling from Trincomalee . The curries included chicken, fish and vegetables. The service excellent by owner. The ambiance relating. You can see wild elephants waiting for Garbage truck to arrive to feed close by on the main road.
Great place that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's located conveniently by the side of the Ambepussa road and plenty or parking space available within the premises. They have a quite decent variety of items in their menu, but the best combination is Sri Lankan rice with river fish curry or fried. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly.
We found this little gem on our way to Sigiriya in Habarana. We had to wait for an hour as the lunch was being prepared but it was all worth it! Buffet had an amazing variety of Sri Lankan authentic food and taste was second to none! Also the restaurant had maintained super clean environment where you’d feel it from the moment you step in to it. The cost of the buffet was also reasonable for the options that they offer. Highly recommend this!
Stayed there for two nights. We booked three rooms. Two rooms were air conditioned and one room had a water cooler. All the rooms had towels, soap and shampoo. Bathrooms were equipped with hot water. Both rooms and bathrooms were very clean.
The property has a restaurant and you can easily order all three meals from there. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Happened onto this fine restaurant while visiting Sigiriya and Pidurangula. it's part of a guest house by the same name. conveniently located . Pleasant surroundings. Welcoming service. Very good food. Had a fresh tomato soup that was delicious.
It is the one of best place in Habarana to stay.I stay two nights there. Nice food, Sri Lankan buffet ,cleaning rooms and nice services and I spend few hours with friendly French lady who owner the hotel. Thanks Aliya Pink
This year may I visited to aliya pink.carole and Shiva is warmly welcomed to us.we stay there two nights.room is super clean.food is awesome.hightly recommended them.garden looks like little village we see several types of birds also.there have are transport services also.
