This was the best breakfast we had in Mexico 🙌 the atmosphere is beautiful and laid back, excellent service, food was incredible, coffee was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely return and highly recommend to everyone. This cafe is a gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Good breakfast place. Located in the nice neighborhood. Service was excellent. Every time I put down my fork to finish my plate the waiter was there to take the plate. The food was good but nothing special. Based on the reviews I was expecting something exceptional. My expectations weren’t met. Maybe that’s my personal problem. We had Eggs Benedict and Salty French Toast. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We came here because of excellent reviews and had super high expectations. I can’t say we were disappointed but we didn’t get what the hype was about. The Eggs Benedict was beautifully presented but nothing special taste wise. Salty French toast was just ok, kinda boring looking and boring tasting. Everything is fresh, and coffees are good, our server was very attentive. Atmosphere was nice just because of their outdoor seating, they have no seating inside, and the good music was coming from the neighboring restaurant. Overall it’s a decent breakfast spot but not a five star one for me Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

A must try if you like a good breakfast or brunch. One of the top best sandwiches and shakes. Every ingredient is fresh and prepared before you. The Tostado de Salmon with a side egg and their special pesto sauce was excellent, and paired well with a delicious tropical smoothie. Love this spot. It had a super chill vibe and nice music. I ordered a vanilla oat latte and split the Benedict and pancake with my friend. The latte was great and sweet how I like it without adding any extra sugar. The Benedict and its hollandaise was delicious. You could taste the butter. My friend got a chai so all together it was about $40 usd with tip included. Which is cheap compared to the rest of tulum. I’d come back! My friend is a Benedict snob and was hesitant to order at first but she said it was one of the best she ever had. Service was great too! Was slightly overpriced for what you get but overall we were very happy with what we ordered. Delicious cold brew. I had the chia pudding which I thought was great and topped with a ton of very fresh fruit. My partner got the chilaquiles and loved it. Served was also incredibly friendly. My wife and I visited here on our anniversary trip to Tulum. We were wandering around this area and came across Alegría. This cafetería is by far the best breakfast experience! We are from Los Angeles and are fans of delicious foods and fun brunch places. We ended up eating at Alegría TWICE (we rarely visit a restaurant more than once on vacation so we can try more places). The food here rivals the balanced flavor profiles of some of our favorite restaurants. There is care and intention with every dish and every presentation, from the food to the exotic smoothies and coffee. We had a lovely conversation with Rebecca and got to learn a lot about the restaurant and the culture of cooking food with love. Our server Oscar was so nice and attentive. The kitchen staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Even though we must go back home, we will be craving Alegría until we come back to Tulum (or they come to LA😉)! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sweet French Toast
This is the best cafe in Aldea Zama, Tulum. The food is amazing and the service/staff is fantastic. Try the Best Eggs Benedict or Salty French. Also the Vanilla Latte is amazing. I wish I could give this cafe ( restaurant) at least 6 stars if I can, not only the service is good, also the food is absolutely delicious!! Definitely one of my favourite food spot in Tulum, highly recommended this place for smoothies, breakfast, brunch or a veggies bowl!! The only recommendation would be to place a bigger sign to make it easily visible to people so it’s easier to find. So far this the “Hidden Gem” spot! Service Dine in
