Visiting Slovenia for the first time, we arrived here on the recommendation of a local artisan. Directly, we could ask for recommendations on wines and food (with their locally grown vegetables and freshly sourced seafood) and everything was just perfect! Fresh food, perfectly cooked, friendly service advising us the best dish based on our wishes (vegetarian vs trying out local food), and a perfect wine from the Northwest of Istria.

The place/venue is great and even knowing it was parked under a motorway didn't change opinions. Food was fantastic. Top 5 calamari fritti I've had, not fishy, not chewy & all dishes were very generous. Normally make the trip to Koper to have lunch on route to Summer destination (Croatia) but this recommended gem was a great stop instead

Very nice setting, even though right under the massive road flyover, it still gives the feeling of countryside quiet retreat. The food is delicious and service very good.
Amazing place to eat a dinner. Beautiful big garden, ideal to run for children, not dangerous next to the road as most of the places. Staff is very friendly, food was delicious. Definetely we come Back when we are here as it was the best restaurant we ate in Slovenian Istria. Waiters deserve tips as they are smiling and speak good English. One of them also showed us how the mall still works how ever it is 200 years old. They produced olive oil. It was much better as we expexted, in spite of the location, as it is in the middle of nowhere. Tomato soup, beef soup, Fried octopus, angler fish and sorbet was on our menu and all of them were wonderful. Thank you.

If you want to eat well in an traditional Istrian restaurant this is the best place. Vegetarian and vegan options are good and from fresh local vegies. Great place for weddings or other occasions as they have a big terrace and garden. Good choice of vine.
Dogs are allowed. My pasta with wild mushrooms was a great vegan choice.
