Really delicious and authentic Japanese sushi. The fish was very fresh amd everything was beautifully flavoured. We really enjoyed the homemade soy sauce that was on offer. Great to have the option of fresh wasabi too. Huge servings of seaweed salad and edaname to start followed by seared tuna and two different rolls all to share was more than enough for two hearty appetites. Reasonably priced for the excellent quality. We'll certainly try to go back before the end of our trip.

I would give Aki Samurai House more than 5 stars if I could. We had an amazing sushi dinner, everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service is excellent, the owners/chef are so welcoming and personable. We had family in town and this was an excellent last dinner before they went home. Just a couple of the favorites were seared albacore and the baked mussels. Really everything was delicious but those two dishes stood out for all of us. It was just a really fun, exciting, delicious experience. My husband and I will definitely be back. I think the price reflects the quality and experience, and Aki Samurai House is someplace we'll bring other sushi loving friends. We did Omakase, I would highly recommend that. We all got to try new things we had never tried before (standouts were the scallops from Catalina and the Mahi). They serve beer (Asahi & Sapporo), red & white wine, house sake (cold & hot), along with tea, soft drinks, and water. If you love sushi, or even if you're looking to expand your sushi pallet, run don't walk to Aki Samurai House. Reservations can be make before 3 pm, we booked several days in advance via WhatsApp. Thank you for an amazing experience!! 2023 January, Returned after 2 years, still as awesome as ever. Make a reservation the day before so they can have enough fish available. The presentation itself is an art form! We ate before I could take pictures. The 5 of us had a wonderful meal. If there's something you must have let them know before hand. Sapporo and imported drinks are expensive to bring in just so you know. I still highly recommend the grilled scallop roll, it was the table favourite. Feb 2020 Very good sushi! My first visit here I had a roll and edamame. Beautiful presentation!Great service and awesome selection. Check out the roof top! I'll be back for sashimi. Return for second time seared tuna and scallop roll. Both outstanding! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Recommended dishes Seared Tuna

Overpriced unfortunately for what it is. Sushis were okay but with a lot of surimi. Miso soup was good. We were alone in the restaurant but service was good. Beers were a staggering 300 pesos each when we received the bill. We felt mislead and hence do not recommend. Quality price is not there in any case

The best hidden gem in all of Bahia de Banderas! I called a couple of weeks in advance and said I needed a reservation for two, on a Sunday! I also said that I wanted the Omakase menu. Meche did not tell me that they are normally closed on Sunday. So, we showed up today and were the only two customers. We were seated, had a very good Sake, and were treated to something I hardly expected in this area. Absolutely fantastic Omakase menu with so many fabulous dishes, specially prepared by chef Akiira-san. This was one of the the best dinners we have had in this area, and we have been coming here for over 20 years. I would heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Really good fresh sushi/sashimi in La Cruz, which is a fishing village. Traditional omikase available with 24 hours notice. Super-friendly and nice Japanese owner and manager who speak English well. Without doubt, the best and most authentic Japanese restaurant in the Bay of Banderas Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Amazing sushi restaurant. Even better service. Our waitress was so personable and made the experience that much better. Very fresh fish and delicious creative rolls. Highly recommend anyone to go if you’re looking for a fantastic sushi meal.
