Red Snapper
Totally outstanding restaurant in Dodanduwa. Super friendly and caring staff made us feel very special. The food is delicious and alot. Try the Sri Lankan delicious or a daily fish. The cocktails are also special, mango daiquiri highly recommended. We went there twice and we will come back whenever possible!

Had an amazing experience on both occasions that I came here for lunch. The service is impeccable, and a special thank you goes out to our server Lahiru for making me and my partner feel extremely at home. Would definitely recommend you come here and leave a little memento behind on the massive mural wall that they have upstairs!

A2 Special Fried Noodles Prawn Fish Sauseges Eggs Bacon Cashew Nuts
My husband and I visited a week ago. We really enjoyed the food and service. Our waiter talked us into the special seafood platter. So glad he did, it was more than enough for the two of us. We had fish, prawns, crab, calamari and lobster along with a salad and fries (chips). When we were leaving they arranged for a tuk tuk to take us back to our hotel. We would definitely visit again.

We went for lunch yesterday with two kids. The person who gave us the menu was very unprofessional. We ordered mixed rice which comes with chicken and seafood. The rice portion only had four tiny chicken pieces. Also, the food is overpriced. They asked us to order drinks which are overpriced too. We did not order drinks , and they did not even provide us a glass of water because of that. But, they have charged extra for service fee just placing food on our table. Also, food quality is very poor as we had some stomach aches after eating. We live in Australia and came for a holiday here. Please don't do business like this. I'm sure you are not able to continue your restaurant for long term like this. Very bad service , food and never recommend this place for anyone .

The owner is really friendly and knows basic English - so you can speak with him what you want in case the waiter doesn't understand you.
The food is really good and tasty. I have ate here many times and all the time everything was okay.

I've been to Sri Lanka for a month, I've tried a lot of restaurants but I have to say that the A2 restaurant is the best! I liked the whole fish, which is absolutely delicious. They have a choice of many types of fish, seafood, meat and very good "hot pans". Prices are also very low compared to other restaurants in the area. I recommend to everyone! :))) The staff is nice and friendly :)
We ordered 2 Sri Lankan delight curries - one fish and one chicken. The staff were attentive and polite, however the food took close to an hour to be served. After waiting so long, we were disappointed to taste a fairly mediocre curry served with room temperature rice.

It's the best restaurant in this area - hands down!
My recommendation: The Sri Lankan fish curry meal. It's so filling and delicious!
The staff is courteous and the vibe is relaxed and chill overall. Highly recommend it.
