Ahhhhh... so relaxing! Sipping coffee and munching on a slice of delicious banana bread in a shady jungle garden. Birds chirping overhead, island music playing.... (Please ignore the constant noise of golfcarts and mopeds going by -- its just a part of life on Isla Mujeres.) This little complex includes the coffee shop, a spa, a sushi bar, another restaurant & bar, and a ladies' boutique. Since I'm staying nearby, it's a nice walk by the ocean to arrive and take in the excellent coffee.

Everything about 42 Coffee was excellent! The Benedict is one of the best I've ever had and their hibiscus drink is a must have! Our server was very polite and attentive making our dining experience extra special.

Love 42 coffee and bistro! All sorts of breakfast options from avocado toast to sweet crepes, coffees and teas! Basti was our server and she has great customer service and personality! We came 4/7 mornings that we were on island and we would’ve gone every time had we known they were the best

Lush and quiet little oasis in a sea of tourist traps pounding house beats. This little cafe serves really strong espresso, lassis, breakfast and crepes. We had a delicious slice of banana bread which was freshly baked in the morning. Definitely recommended. The little enclave here also has two nice restaurants and a couple of shops.
I was surprised with the place, they have a variety of coffees. I ended up falling in love with their cold brew, and their vegan cookies with agave honey. Their English sandwich was spectacular. It will be my new favorite on my next visit to Isla Mujeres.

Best coffee on the island so far. Very nice and attentive staff, cool and relaxed atmosphere. We had the banana bread and americanos. It was sweet, like a dessert, but that’s what we were going for today. Highly recommend!
Definitely recommend you visit this beautiful picturesque cafe. Claudia and Chuey are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe has a wonderful display of art and pottery for sale. The ambience is tropical and inviting. The coffee (we had the maya cofeee) was absolutely delicious and the breakfast recommend by Claudia (spinach and Chesse with poached eggs and homemade foccacia) was everything and more.
Wonderful place. Staff is friendly. The art is great. I splurged and bought a beautiful handcrafted silver and turquoise necklace. Avacado toast and mocha was perfect.

I’m not sure how we missed this gem on our previous visits to Isla, but we will not forget it in the future! A perfect way to start the day. The friendliest service and great laid back vibe. The Avacado Toast was amazing. Ask for a side of the chipotle mayo for a spicy kick. Fabulous! Nice selection of morning brews AND they accept credit cards.
