Great food. Music too loud. We enjoyed the shrimp scampi, vegetable lumpia, Caesar salad, chicken salad, and seafood pasta. Nicely decorated inside and out. Clean restrooms, wifi available. Sit inside or out. Parking available. Our issue with the music. It was a nice group and they played music perfect for a restaurant. The instruments were at a good sound level, however the female vocalist was turned up way too high. A good singer, volume made my ears hurt. Manager should take charge of this. Don't tell them to be quieter, set a limit on the amplifier. A guest got up and sang, a staffer turned her volume down. Band vocalist comes back, staff turns the volume up. Maybe guests like it that way. What you will get is only guests who like loud music. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₱1,200–1,400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

We went here with my in-laws for a pre-dinner beer and appetizer. 4 beers, calamari, a shake and chicken poppers 1430php. We were literally the only table in the place and still had to wait… so the service is not great. The calamari was typical for Phil… not a crunchy batter and very chewy. The chicken poppers were decent. Pretty cool looking place, but overpriced for what you get and the service you receive… I wouldn’t recommend. glad i trusted my instincts and came here. the mango smoothie was amazing! the 1925 classic burger was also the bombs with good nicely buttered brioche buns, along with the wings and potato croquettes!!! they were my favourites. the pesto pasta was a tad oily and peanut coated chicken was not my cup of tea. but it may be yours! it’s crunchy nonetheless. We go here for our favorite Schweiger draft beer as well as good food. Relaxed ambiance too inside the freeport..good selection of cocktails too..
Eat here two night in a row. 1st night had the Veg Lumpia (expertly cooked with crispy skin and moist interior of mixed mushrooms and banana leaves, very tasty) and the Tuna Ceviche. Lots of huge chunks of ahi with a generous amounts of sliced cucumber, red radish, and onions. Marinated in a nice citrus sauce, almost a meal in its self. Very good. 2nd night started with the Caesar Salad. Large leafs of lettuce with anchovy dressing, bacon bits, and grated Parmesan cheese all cradling a soft poached egg. Wonderful! This was followed by the Bahn Mi. Their version is fantastic with hoisin ham, slaw, pickled turnips, pate’, and cilantro. The county fries (crispy on the outside, moist center) on the side rounded out the plate. An excellent meal! My only suggestion: start restocking more draft beers and get that row of taps pouring again with wide selection of local and/or craft beers. I remember food here used to taste great but for some reason it somehow lost what used to make it great. What we ordered: Malunggay Pesto Pasta, 1925 Burger, Adobo Burrito, Corned Beef (Breakfast) Upside: serving sizes, service staff Downside: the place looks tired, food doesn't taste good (except for the corned beef breakfast plate), you would expect more for its price point Do we recommend the place? No. Are we going back? Not sure.
I had an English breakfast. Sadly being English, the English breakfast did not look like an English breakfast. Bacon in the UK is normally soft, the baked beans are served in a red sauce and not particularly sugary. The sausage was paprika flavoured and felt more Hungarian than English. Sausages in England are smaller with mild herbs. The deco though was great and did feel like a restaurant back home. The service was erratic and some of our 7 person group finished their food before it arrived. Parking was easy and it's near the Spanish gate and Subic beach Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
